“A real treat”

What a beautiful place! The only drawback for me was the automated entrance which does not work if you have cold hands. Frustrating but I managed in the end. I was upgraded to a de luxe room which was very spacious, but there was no tea or coffee making. It was quiet and ,as you would expect, the bed was comfy. The bathroom was to my liking as there was a huge bath. The receptionist was only there sometimes but she was very helpful in the morning about whee to walk. The restaurant was excellent and the staff were well trained and polite although it was could be difficult to catch their attention. I enjoyed the fine dining as a change from traditional Czech food. Breakfast was plentiful and people were coming in from outside.

“Nice hotel at good value”

Villa Patriot is an old Villa, that stands out in Marienbad due to its architecture with a large columns dominating the front of the building. The interior is all in an old style with high ceilings, nice, but not really impressive. The rooms match the style of the hotel. Everything is in good work… more

Villa Patriot is an old Villa, that stands out in Marienbad due to its architecture with a large columns dominating the front of the building. The interior is all in an old style with high ceilings, nice, but not really impressive. The rooms match the style of the hotel. Everything is in good working order and very clean, with great attention to detail. The interior is nice, but not fancy. The same can be said of the breakfast. If that all doesn't sound overly enthusiastic, it has to be put in perspective. Because this is not an expensive place. So for what you pay, you are actually getting more than your money's worth. The highlight of the place is the restaurant that I reviewed separately, and which is well worth a visit. So if you are staying in Marienbad and are looking for a nice hotel that doesn't break the bank, Villa Patriot is an excellent choice. If you plan to dine there, it's an obvious one.

“Wonderful place in the center of Marianske Lazne”

We had a wonderful four days in this beautiful place. The rooms on the first floor all have high ceilings, and nice interior. We had a wonderful four days in this beautiful place. The rooms on the first floor all have high ceilings, and nice interior. The service is superb and flexible, as is the restaurant in the same building. Delicious food. I can recommend this for everybody. All sites and activities in Mariánské Lanze are nearby in walking distance. Go to the Roman baths!

“Interesting establishment.”

We didn't love this Hotel although we understand its historical merit. As stated on their profile there is no lift. There are 33 stairs from the first to second floor. Our room felt like an attic room which had large wooden beams running through it. There is no formal.shower just a low level shower… more

We didn't love this Hotel although we understand its historical merit. As stated on their profile there is no lift. There are 33 stairs from the first to second floor. Our room felt like an attic room which had large wooden beams running through it. There is no formal.shower just a low level shower hose over a bath. There is a mini bar but no flat based glasses to drink out of. The only natural light was 2 sky lights so no view. We were advised you look around by going out walking, which we did. However we did love the general area it is located in. Advice: request the first floor!
