Stayed here for 4 nights with 7 friends. A really nice hotel which we found perfect for our trip. We had an early flight so the hotel let us store our bags whilst we went exploring for the day. The check-in when we returned was very quick, we signed some forms and paid the city tax which was 50CZK per person per night (A touch over £7 each for the trip) The rooms were super clean and of a high standard. Two things worth noting on the rooms are 1 - There is a socket above the bed on the ledge which can be missed and if you want to use it whilst in bed for phone charging you'll need a long cable at least 1.5-2m. 2 - The shower is VERY powerful and hot which is great BUT the shower head is connected on a hose with a thin spray head meaning the water blasts out with the force of a fire hose and it's all you can do not to flood the bathroom or have your head taken off. I advise aiming it in towards the wall a bit and blocking it with your body. It's a shame as the pressure is awesome it's just a rubbish head and a nightmare for washing your hair. One final note on the shower, the shower gel dispenser is way too low and when you use it the water washes it straight off your hand before you get it anywhere near your body so I'd advise lifting it out of the holder and using it that way. The room has tea & coffee facilities but no milk and the only English tv channels are 6 x news channels and 4 x music channels (The T.V does have YouTube so we watched only fools and horses videos whilst in the room :) ) The beds were comfy and other things in the room include a safe, ironing board, iron, and dressing gowns. The breakfast was excellent and even had an omelette station for cooked to order omelettes! There was something for everyone even if you're a fussy eater! (TIP - the coffee cups are tiny so by each entrance there are large takeaway cups with lids, we used those for breakfast and to take a coffee out when we left) The Bar staff were friendly, it was about £5 a pint so not too bad for hotel prices and the staff often brought us over free bowls of crisps! (nice touch) There is a Casino at the hotel just inside the entrance, you can use it but beware they charge £9 to get in and my friend who went in said there was only 2 people in there so not really worth it. The location wasn't bad, there is a Macdonalds, starbucks and shops all within 1 minute of the hotel. It takes around 10-15 mins to walk to the main square area each day which was fine as once we were there we were out for the day. There is a tram stop outside of the hotel and you can get a 30 min ticket into the centre for about £1.20 if you don't want to walk. We booked this trip with British airways and got flights from Heathrow, transfers both ways, airport parking for 6 days, a hotel the night before we flew next to Heathrow and the Grandior all for £398 per person including the city tax which was exceptional value considering all of the above. I would 100% recommend this hotel as anything closer to the centre is a lot more money and nowhere near as nice as this 4/5 star hotel I'd happily stay here again.

We are currently staying in a Twin Room at the Grandior Hotel, Bed & Breakfast. The positives: Fantastic staff, from Reception, to housekeeping, to kitchen, to dining room. They are all very helpful, Everyone is invested in their work and offer Great customer service. The dining room is immaculately clean, dishes are cleared away as soon as you are finished eating The breakfast selection, is probably among the best that I have ever had anywhere in Europe, and many other hotels abroad. There is plenty for everyone, especially for picky eaters and those needing a special diet. The bedrooms are a good size, beds very comfortable, ample wardrobe space, a nice seating area with a desk, and chairs, plus a hot drinks station, a small fridge with mini bar, the prices arent too inflated. The bathroom has a walk in shower and is a great size for anyone unable to use a bathroom with a tub, it might help to request this room when booking. Individual room temperature control and large windows to allow lots of light, and these open to allow a flow of fresh air. There is a spa that offers lots of choice, if you ask at hotel reception they will provide a 10% discount voucher for this service. There are ample lifs which needs your room car tapped to chose the floor you need. No long waiting periods, there are also stairs for those who prefer the exercise. Lobby area is light and bright, a nice place to relax, any time of day. Many guests toilets available, which is always clean. A very good decision to stay here, and I would stay here on any future visits to prague. The Negatives : Nothing that I have found. If I could make a suggestion. It might be an idea to provide double duvets for the twin beds, as they dont really offer full coverage for guests of size. Outside: A bus & tram service right outside the hotel, a tube station a short walk. All in all a great hotel, Great Area, Great Transport links.

We, family of four with 2 grown up kids, visited Prague and chose Grandior hotel because it was close to the tourist center and not too close. With a tram stop in front of the hotel and 2 metro stops close by, it is easily accessible by public transportation or walk to the city center by foot. The service is what I expect from a 5* hotel, and all questions were answered and resolved quickly. The rooms were good. Personally I'm not a fan of the different patterns an the color schemes used, but since the room is only for sleeping and changing, its not an issue. Soundproofing was top notch - I couldn't hear a single sound from my kids next door. Facilities were as expected. Breakfast was an excellent start of the day, and at Labor day, there was even a pianist hired which brought a smile to our faces. One minor remark would be that an hour before work was starting on the plumbing (scheduled from 0:00 to 5:00 and announced via multiple channels) we smelled something stinking in our rooms. That was quickly resolved by reassigning us to different rooms. Kudos for the service during the night.
