“Quite a surprise and lots of fun!”
We did a very 'last minute' booking (on the day of the stay) and were very surprised and delighted at our 'find'!! “Near to Perfection”
As I am traveling a lot in France for business I llike the Logis the France Business Stopover formula. Logis has his own classification of "Fire Places " for comfort and Pots for the Kitchen. “Fantastic.”
This place is beautiful, but only on the inside, typically french, but don,t be put off! From outside it looks like nothing at all but once inside you realise how wonderful it is. Best though of as a restaurant with rooms. From the description e.g. an historic mansion with views of the park, I had thought this was in the countryside, but it turns out that Royat is a suburb of Clermont and this hotel is right on a main road with a public car park next to it. Our second stay at La Belle Meunière and we look forward to returning.
