It was good to be back in this neat, clean, unassuming little hotel in Vincennes. It’s 2 stars are probably appropriate but be prepared for better. It’s perfectly positioned down a quiet street less than a 5 minute walk fro the Vincennes RER A station, and the many restaurants and shops of this vibrant area. I’ve been coming here for 4 years on and off, less the last 14 months of weirdness of course, and it was so good to be back. I leave before breakfast everyday so I can’t comment on it but, the rooms are extremely clean, air con equipped, with copious hot water for the shower. I’m due back in Oct so things are returning to normal. Don’t forget your pass sanitaire.

Stayed here for a week during a trade show and have been back subsequently. The hotel is on a very quiet back street a stone's throw from Vincennes RER station. Away from the street are all the great bars and restaurants of this busy suburb. The hotel is 2 star establishment but don't be put off. The owner is a Canadian who has moved to France - he understands customer service, which is often a boon in Paris..... The rooms are compact but my 2 were immaculately clean, air conditioned and quiet. There was just enough wardrobe space to hang a week's worth of shirts and suits and the bathrooms are very small - tricky enough for me alone but it would be pretty tight for a couple's worth of toiletries. I didn't have breakfast but it looked nice and fresh with croissants and bread from the local bakers. My only negative comment was that I'd have liked a kettle in my room, but I am a tea drinking Brit!

“Nice hotel on a side street”

This is a nice little hotel in a quiet area on a side street. . Small rooms but very clean. Excellent staff and service. Breakfast is 8 euros extra. Convenient to the Chateau and to the metro and RER.

First thing's first, this is a tiny hotel and there is no lift. So if you're staying on the third floor (like we were), it is a big hike if you have heavy luggage. First thing's first, this is a tiny hotel and there is no lift. So if you're staying on the third floor (like we were), it is a big hike if you have heavy luggage. The rooms are small as well, and you'll have a bit of trouble getting around your luggage, and making your way around the bathroom. Now that that's out of the way, we loved our stay here! The staff were all so friendly, our room was made up everyday. We had breakfast everyday (extra cost) and it set us up well for the day (croissant, baguette, caffe or te, orange juice, and a selection of jams). The free wifi worked well (ask for a code at the desk). The location is great. Only a 4 minute walk from Gare de Vincennes (RER A), and maybe 5 minute walk from Berault or Chateau de Vincennes (Metro 1), so if you're wanting to head to any of the sights you're spoiled for choice as far as transport goes. If you're arriving from Paris Nord (Gare de Nord), take either the RER B or RER D to Chatelet le halles, then from there, grab the RER A to Gare de Vincennes. Set your expectations right and you will love your stay.
