“Some issues over cleanliness”
The carpet in the room looked Grubby, and was very worn in places. The grout in the bathroom tiles needed cleaning, and the toilet was stained with limescale.I have stayed before, and never had a room in such poor condition.

“Tired but comfortable”
Hotel is a good location, easy to find. Good stopover point. Whole place could do with refurbishing though as everything is looking tired. Better reception this time than on our last stay (a week earlier). Young man on reception was friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant next door - not cheap b… more
