“Tricky to Find”
Unless you happen to be coming in from Poitiers you won't see any signs for this hotel - we had to ask in a twon centre shop. Eventually we found it in a suburban street at the end of a 100 yard drive. The actual hotel sign had been knocked about by a high sided vehicle and was totally invisible ! … more

“Tranquil , a sort of home from home”
Having tried to stay here in high season and failed as it was full , was nice to get the other end of the scale in November when we were almost the only people there... Nice comfy bed , lovely view over the river , great breakfast , pleasant staff - really very good value.

“A bit quirky, like staying at someones home with wonderful views”

“Hotel/ hostel not really sure which”
This is one of two hotels in Chauvigny the other being the far more expensive Logis de France in the town.
