My son and I just finished a 3-day stay at this beautifully-situated hotel today and would highly recommend staying here. The views are just what you'd expect in "Paradise on Earth." In addition, the staff is most welcoming, the hotel is very clean and well- kept and the food options are plentiful and delicious. Kaeda, the outstanding Concierge, went out of her way to assist us in evaluating various activities. We were extremely pleased with the separate snorkeling and scuba diving activities that Kaeda recommended. Indeed, the half-day snorkeling trip was so fantastic, I joined this trip on 2 consecutive days. Laurence Levy, the very personable, professional and customer-oriented General Manager, makes a real effort to engage with virtually all her guests. Her personal attention makes a real difference as her attention to detail and client happiness is reflected throughout the rest of her organization. Mitara and Alliance were two more examples, among many staff members, who were very friendly and helpful. In short, if you've traveled a lot, as I have been fortunate to do, it's pretty easy to spot the difference between a hotel where high-quality customer service is perfunctory vs where it's genuine and part of the resort's DNA. The friendliness and helpful staff attitude at this Intercontinental is very authentic. As a result, we had a fantastic stay and would love to return. What an amazing place! From the moment you step off the boat, the warm welcome and outstanding service set the tone for your stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the happy hour offers great value. What truly makes this place special is the staff—their positivity and willingness to help clearly come from the top. It’s not every day that you’re personally greeted by the hotel manager on arrival, see them again at departure, and even spot them helping clear plates at breakfast. That level of involvement says everything about the atmosphere here. This is exactly why it’s such a joyful place to be. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

We had a great family stay at Le Moana, and the staff really made all the difference. It all started months before our trip, as the concierge team was incredibly responsive and helpful, which ensured we were set up for a great week. Thanks to Vae and Kaeda and the entire team! When we arrived, the welcome was incredibly warm (thanks, Pierre) and that level of care stayed consistent the whole time. You can tell the staff at Le Moana really takes pride in the resort and goes out of their way for guests. Our oldest son arrived at the resort with a stomach bug from our night in Tahiti, and the staff was so kind and supportive, offering to help in any way possible. The General Manager, Laurence, even checked in with me the next couple of mornings to see how he was doing, which meant a lot. The food was very good (especially the breakfast buffet) and the accommodations were perfect for our family - we opted for the beach bungalows and really enjoyed having what felt like our own private beach. We also easy access to kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling equipment, as Jack and the team make sure you have what you need to enjoy a day in the water. Overall, just a really amazing experience and a fantastic week of fun and relaxation!

This vacation was majestic! We stayed a few days at the InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana and then the sister resort Thalasso Spa. They were both lovely; I prefer Moana. It was more boutique size with a family feel. (We bought the package through Costco.) I have celiac; the resort had a special sign for GF bakery breakfast options. They knew my name and I did not have to remind them daily of my allergy. Camille was in charge of the breakfast; she and her staff took such exceptional care of me. When she saw I could not eat the potatoes because they were fried, she made arrangements for special potatoes to be cooked in a pan just for me, and I did not even ask. It’s this attention to detail that made the vacation that much more special. We loved the shallowness of the water as far as you could walk and the sandy bottom. The fish that swam under the coffee table were beautiful. This resort was on the main land with a small town near by. It was nice to go in town for an afternoon. We are scuba divers and had one of the best dive experiences with Bora Ocean Adventures with JP and Julian as our Dive masters. We loved the whole vacation!
