Location of this 3-star hotel is really excellent, just in front of Karlsruhe main station. Location of this 3-star hotel is really excellent, just in front of Karlsruhe main station. Although, the bed was just a single bed, the room in general was quite comfortable with large sofa, tee-coffee making facility, large high window and clean and quite spacious bathroom with large shower tube. Also the view form the window was not bad. However, it was quite hard to find e reception. There was no reception, only after I make a fool circle around the building I found an inscription where was indicated that the reception was in the bar, which is the part of the hotel. The things there work as follows: you have to ask the waitress to call the reception workers. The elevators was very slow. Also the breakfast was not one can expect form the German 3-star hotel. No hot options, for hot beverages you have to ask barista, no self service, quite limited selection of cold cut and cereals.

We stopped here en route home from holiday, the hotel was clean, the room well equipped, and the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was expensive (we ate somewhere else) and the location next to the zoo and station was pretty, but the flamingos were noisy at night and the parking was easy but cost €6.

“Nice hotel with good location”

I stayed here fore 4 nights during a business trip to Karlsruhe. It is directly across the street from the train station, so is very easy to find on arrival in the town. I stayed here fore 4 nights during a business trip to Karlsruhe. It is directly across the street from the train station, so is very easy to find on arrival in the town. The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. There is a lovely bar downstairs that serves a good selection of drinks until 1 am - perfect for a nice summer's night. The breakfasts were very nice - freshly made coffee and tea to order, and a great selection of food to start the day. The hotel is also located right on the edge of the zoo - a really beautiful attraction. Unfortunately as it was summer, temperatures were very hot, and no AC available in the rooms. With its proximity to the train station, an open window resulted in an unfortunately early wake-up. However, I appreciate there is little that can be done about this. Overall was a great choice of hotel for a trip to Karlsruhe. I will be happy to stay here again.

This apartment is well situated within Karlsruhe as close to the train station and zoo etc. That is the positives done. The apartment was ok but kitchen lacked cutlery and crockery. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the one fan could not cool the apartment down. It was so hot in there.The staff were very rude and weren’t very helpful especially if you struggle with your German.
