“Hotel with warmth and charm”
An excellent family run hotel in the heart of Lorrach and convenient to Basel with the train (free with guest card). The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and flexible. “Excellent”
Huge room, excellent service (manager personally guided us in for the last part of our drive), very nice breakfast, best location in town (restaurants and shops are steps away), secure parking in basement. Look no further when staying in Loerrach.

“Just dont go there by car, otherwise good.”
We got a very spacious quiet room (including a nice large bathroom. All very clean and very functional. Tasty breakfast with standard selection. Friendly staff. Just avoid the cramped complicated parking garage; it takes you 20 minutes to park the car, and need to be a contortionist. Lack of parkin… more

“comfortable and pleasant”
10 minutes from Basel the Mayerhof hotel is a great place to stay (Lorrach was also a pleasant surprise), Large and clean rooms, super-friendly staff, good breakfast. If you arrive by car there is a garage just under the hotel available for €10. highly recommended.

“Will not come again”
Nice facade but that’s all. Modern hotel behind from first floor, because Greek restaurant on the main floor. Bizar. Kind man who managed us in the parking under the hotel. Room was ok but airconditioning didn’t work and that was NOT because we did it wrong.
