You chose this hotel and happily noted that you were right in choosing! All hotel conditions exceeded our expectations! Clean, cozy and comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet place, surrounded by nature. From the hotel room and from the terrace of the restaurant, you can contemplate the beautiful valley and the fir forest. As you know, communication with nature gives us a huge amount of positive energy, and the ecological place of living around nature is doubly! Therefore, the idea of ​​an eco-friendly hotel is to protect people from city fuss, plastic, and of course, Internet radiation. The hotel has no internet, which allows people to be alone with nature. We were accommodated immediately upon arrival, providing a very comfortable room. I want to say right away, when choosing a room, there are rooms with a view of the forest, the western shadow side, for those who want a subdued light and not be awakened by the morning sun! For lovers of bright light, the east side overlooks the valley, but there is a chance to hear cars passing by. And of course in but there are blinds and curtains to regulate the light. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent and brought everything very quickly. The girl working in the reception and in the restaurant as a waiter, incredibly quickly coped with all her duties. Despite the busyness of the restaurant and a certain number of people at dinner, the cook coped with the slave perfectly! By the way, the cook was the only one we saw at our breakfast. She was a very pleasant woman, radiating a sea of ​​positive and good. (for note: knowing Russian) The breakfast area was fascinated by its Provence-style decors, beautifully reserved tables, perfect cleanliness and an excellent breakfast selection. There were many varieties of high-quality cheeses, cold meats, scrambled eggs, eggs, fresh bread with a crispy crust, dairy, fruits, vegetables, natural butter and juices. If you appreciate the silence and good service, then you will love this hotel! If possible, we will definitely come back here!

“Two nights, great location, nice rooms, good restaurant!”

This is an excellent hotel and restaurant, conveniently located in the Black Forest, between Furtwangen and Triberg. Great food selections for both breakfast and dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Outdoor seating as well. Only downside - no elevator.

Positive: my husband & I ordered potato russties, his with Wild ragout, mine with Steinpilz sauce, OMG, so yummy, the potatoes were crispy, the sauces homemade and so tasty, afterwards we shared the best tasting slice of Black Forest Cake, it was so fresh, so creamy, it seemed to melt in your mouth… more

The water & beer was cold and fresh. Our start when we first got to the restaurant was a bit stormy but after a while our servers, Anna and Kateryna, became friendlier and warm, they came by to see how we were doing with our food and drinks, we even had pleasant exchanges before departing. We were lucky the weather was warm and sunny as the only place we were allowed was in the outside terrace. Negative: dogs are not allowed inside the hotel restaurant which is a bit unusual for a German hotel but as stated since the weather was warm and sunny it was ok to sit outside.
