“Excellent”
Walking distance from old town, near many restaurants. Parking next to the hotel at a fair price. Breakfast was excellent for $10. Room is very comfortable and internet was fast. Friendly staff with a smile.

“excellent friendly staff - great location”
Bamberg is one of the hidden gems. A town left behind in time. We stayed at the Europa and the staff were very helpful. Old school hospitality at its best. Nice rooms, needed a bit of help with heavy bags as there is no lift but the staff did all that. Great value for money and the booking included… more

“Perfect place to stay”
Perfect location. Right across the road and bridge into the center of Bamberg. A grocery store about 2 blocks down and across the street after turning left from the front door. “Makes a great impression”
Hotel Europa was a much nicer hotel than we were expecting for the price. Reception was extremely kind. They loaned us an umbrella in the rain and helped us figure out the train schedule (or tried). Hotel Europa being the highest rated hotel on Tripadvisor points to something wrong with the travel site. This hotel is fine, nothing more. It is on the wrong side of town. Breakfast is decent. Accommodations are clean, overall decent value. Your stay here will be fine. I would call it average.
