“Great food and service ”
We landed at this restaurant after a long hike and ferry ride. The place was packed due the football game. The staff found us a spot and was very attentive. “Functional stay for one night on King Ludwig Way.”
Staff members from reception to breakfast were grumpy and did not like dealing with English speakers. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was dated and bathroom sink so small it was difficult to brush teeth without water getting everywhere, but the room was clean and bed decently comfortable.

We stayed for one night while on the King Ludwig Trail. After a long long day hiking the hotel was close to the ferry which was good to see. “If your Walking the king Ludwig way it’s a good choice”
The hotel is conveniently located near to the ferry jetty. Staff are friendly and breakfast was good. The hotel is old fashioned and looks to be stuck in the 70's, but the bathrooms are modern and clean, our room had a large balcony which had a good view over the village. Room 10. High quality bathroom is a misnomer. It was very 1970s green. But that's the charm of this Hof. Very little in the provision of toiletries. A very old fashioned Hof. There are no tea/coffee facilities in room so a travel kettle etc. is definitely needed. Also only one plug socket to charge… more
