“Fascinating ”
I had steak with French fries and for drink Weizen Bier and later Citroen Eis Becher. That was really tasty, Its a little far away top of the mountain but stunning location with mountain view and nice atmosphere Food is 😋 and not pricey.

“Hidden guest house -- delightful family runs it”

“Squeaky clean & quaint hotel just outside Frankfurt”

Well, it's probably the only hotel in Essenbach so you can't ask that much. However, for the price we paid for one night (82 euro), I would expect a bit more.
