Had a four night stay here during the Oktoberfest festivities. The hotel is within an upper middle class neighborhood. It is walking distance to the tram and a supermarket. The tram station is about a five minute walk. The tram itself (after around 19 stops) connects to the faster train (S-Bahn). The total ride time to Munich ( Marienplatz area) is around 45 minutes. The restaurant is excellent with Augustiner on tap. Try the schnitzel. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with many choices (scrambled eggs,bread, great coffee, cold cuts and cheese). The rooms are spacious, clean and well thought out ( folding large mirror and flat screen television) with numerous outlets. The windows open all the way to allow fresh air. Service was very professional and courteous.

“Comfortable”

Large, well appointed room, comfortable beds, large windows that open in 3 ways, typical of Europe, balcony doors, also open 2 ways. Inadequate fans for unusually hot days. Room 35 stayed cool however, due to its NE exposure and green roof right outside the window.

We stayed there for a weekend and was welcomed into the Hotel like an old friend or family member, The Hotel was clean and quiet small with their own Bakery. So the breakfast was wonderful with freshly baked bread and everything you needed locally produced from all the cheese too marmalade's and the coffee were wonderful and everything freshly organically made. The dinner was quite expensive but tasty made 100% organic like it should be at a Bio hotel. With a beer garden and an excellent Indian restaurant in the basement were ate the first night. All the rooms were re-donned in an organic style with wooden beams and wooden beds, and the WiFi was great also in the room. The staff was really helpful and friendly so we will definitely come back next year.

Quant and picturesque from the outside. However, the room I had was basic, and no air conditioning made it uncomfortable on a hot summer night. But the bed was comfortable. Staff are on the whole very friendly, although a decent level of English is limited to a few of them. The restaurant is popular, with locals as well as hotel guests, but stops serving rather early at 21.30 Would check for better options before returning.
