“Fantastic stay ”
We booked a couple of nights here on our way back from a tour of Germany. It was a five hour drive to Calais in the final morning but with hindsight it was worth it. “Awesome food and rooms”
We went back to my favourite place in the Sauerland: Wildwiese. A great place, secluded, difficult to find, but worth the ride. WE had a fantastic time and enjoyed the local hospitality. Especially the local food was outstanding, the wine list amazing!

“Pastoral setting; excellent food”
We very much enjoyed our visit and meal. The rural setting in the Sauerland was beautiful, and the food was excellent. There was also a small ski resort and hotel on the premises of Steinbergs. Family owned.
