“Great Hotel!”
This is a very good hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Lena (I think her name was) She booked us a restaurant for that evening as the hotel restaurant isn't open of a weekend. This hotel is well situated in Hattingen which is a surprisingly pretty town. The hotel is great value, has a superb buffet breakfast with a large arrange of choice. Spend 4 days in the Avantgarde. Plus points. Great selection at breakfast. Every type of food conceivable, fresh and in abundance. Staff were extremely helpful. “Beautiful Old Town, Good Hotel”
Stayed here in an apartment room. V good. Nice hotel, bar, restaurant and staff. Small sauna and gym room. Lovely "old town" with half timbered buildings- rare to find. Well worth a visit if you are in Westphalia
