The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good. I really enjoyed the boiled eggs, fruit and yogurt. There was a great deal of choice including milkshakes and fizzy water. My room was huge with a huge comfy bed. There was a kettle which is great to see but I had to move the furniture to plug it in! The bathroom was quite big too and there was a hallway with wardrobe which made the room seem like a small suite. There was a balcony with seats too. We had an evening meal of roast pork with red cabbage & apple and boiled potatoes. It was delicious. I asked the restaurant lady for a drink at the table and the woman screeched and ran off. I wondered if she'd left her iron on. She returned 10 minutes later to ask what drink I'd like when I was eating my dessert so I declined to buy a drink at that point. The guests I was travelling with mentioned that the bar service was incredibly poor. The lady on the bar was everywhere except behind the bar serving. Probably the same woman I encountered! There is only one lift and it's very slow. The decor is very dated. Walls are covered in white woodchip paper and the woodwork is very dark. The staff appear quite unhappy. I didn't see a smile once. Very little eye contact - I tried to say thank you as I was leaving and the woman wouldn't even look at me.

“Worst bed I’ve ever slept in”

Positively surprised by the breakfast buffet - a big selection of breakfast foods, coffee machine, nice whole grain bread, etc. Very positive surprise. Staff are friendly, easy and free parking. Rooms are a bit used but nothing horrible - but the beds. I’ve never slept in a worse bed. The mattress is like one from the 1800s. Full of hard metal springs which are extremely uncomfortable and painful to lie on. If you share a double bed, you will constantly be woken up by the other person turning over, due to the metal springs working like a catapult, and shaking the whole bed when someone moves. It’s very noisy too, due to the rusty springs. The pillows are horrible - full of small, square pieces of foam! I had no idea you could even get pillows like this anymore. Small foam pieces are what you use for decorative pillows on the sofa - not for sleeping on! Extremely harsh and painful for your face to lie on. I woke up with a very sore neck and shoulder, from sleeping on the horrible metal spring mattress, and pillow filled with a few small pieces of foam. If you must stay here, bring your own pillow at least!! We heard bad things about the dinner so we didn’t try it. You can walk to the city centre in around 30 mins which is a nice walk through the local neighbourhood and along the lake. Overall it’s a fine enough hotel for the price, nice breakfast etc - but because of the beds, I can never come back here. I got no proper sleep and was tired the next day, with a painful neck and shoulder.

Room was in need of a bit of love. Needed some paint. Bed was the widest bed I've ever seen. About 3 meters wide. Comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet and reasonably priced. Lobby and dining area all clean and well looked after. Ploner sea view from some rooms. Pl.oner sea walking distance. Friendly staff. A little expensive for the standard of hotel but overall a pleasant stay.

We came here for the second time this year and like it. Basic but clean and nice hotel. Fine service. We had our breakfast in the room due to buffet was closed due to Corona. We came here for the second time this year and like it. Basic but clean and nice hotel. Fine service. We had our breakfast in the room due to buffet was closed due to Corona. Very fine for us as we have our nice big dog with us who is not allowed in the breakfast restaurant, understandably. Nice restaurant for dinner where dog is allowed so we enjoyed dinner there. One comment to the restaurant. The wine was too expensive compared to quality but all the rest was fine food and service.
