“A weekend at the seafront”
Nice hotel with attentful and polite staff; good dinner and a very good wellness centre. As an private pilot is EDWG a very good destination. The matrass was too soft, but sleeping with the window open and to hear the waves of the sea is....

“Stuck in bad weather.”
Arrived here with a group of aviator friends having had to abort our flight to nearby Heligoland due to lowering cloud. Ended up stuck on Wangerooge for three days waiting for the fog to clear. “Best hotel in town, great location with sea view, but rooms are small and not well equipped.”
I stood there with my son, it was great as the beach and shopping were just in front of the door. The rooms are not nice, though, reminded me of a 70s style design and a little worn off. But I doubt that there is a better place to stay in town.
