This was our first time in Chalkidiki and the whole experience had been great. The Cora wasn’t busy as we were there at the end of the season, but they still had a lot of staff available and two of the restaurants as well as the lobby and pool bars were still open. Our standard double room was well laid out and airy. Nothing felt old or like it needed refreshing. The staff were responsive, kind, and helpful - whatever we asked for was done quickly and well. They went out of their way to help with a minor medical issue we had. We only had one lunch and one dinner at the hotel as we were mostly out during the day, although we had breakfast there every day. The breakfast buffet was extensive with lots of choice. It was easy to eat at the hotel as a vegan, with non-dairy milks available and vegan cheese on request. The private beach is accessed by a walkway, lift, and stairs. It’s further down than you think but worth the climb. The map on Tripadvisor is a little misleading. The Cora is 5 minutes drive outside of Afitos, and you can’t easily walk there as the main road has no footpath. taxis are inexpensive and come quickly though so we used them to visit the nice local villages. As there are a lot of stairs to the rooms, to get around the hotel, and to get to the beach - mostly without handrails - the Cora is best suited to people who are able-bodied. However they do have ground floor bedrooms and only 3 stairs to the main restaurant. The staff will also whizz your luggage too and from your room in a golf cart, so they make it as easy as can be. We’d like to visit again, and next time would hire a car so we can do more exploring of the area.

We loved our stay at this hotel, transfer from airport was about 1 hour and 20 on the coach. We loved our stay at this hotel, transfer from airport was about 1 hour and 20 on the coach. Checked in and was taken to our room on a golf buggy, we stayed in a pool room view with a private pool, our room was modern and spacious. We were bed and breakfast, the breakfast was great with a good variety. Plenty of sun loungers around the pools and there’s a beach which you access across the bridge and down the steps or there is a lift. Service was great, nothing was too much trouble. There isn’t anything around in walking distance but there are regular taxis, we mainly went to afytos a lovely little village with nice shops and restaurants which is about a 5 minute drive and cost €7. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a nice hotel with a chilled vibe.

“Best experience and I will back next year”

The best place ever. I love this place and I will recommended to my family and friends, nice pools and walks to sea, nice food and they’re so friendly and kinds. Gym and sauna is my favorite thing here and breakfast and lunch

Fantastic location near the beach with the wonderful village of Afytos just 5 minutes away by car. This is a stylish hotel with a stunning view from the main infinity pool. The staff try very hard to please and are helpful and approachable at all times. My room was clean with a comfortable bed and a great big shower room. I had a private pool room overlooking the main infinity pool. The pool was quite private with a shaded seating area. The air con worked well especially as the temps hit 46c during the day. There was a huge selection at breakfast to suit every taste. We did not use the restaurants as there was such a wealth of dining options in Afytos which had a great vibe in the evening. My only gripes were that my pool suffered from the odd bird dropping due to the protected swifts which nest in the eaves of some of the buildings. There was a Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle in the room but the supply of pods was minimal as was the replenishment of bottled water. Overall a wonderful base to explore this part of Halkidiki.
