We had the pleasure once again of staying at Sani Beach in Kassandra, Halkidiki, and as always, the experience was exceptional. We have been visiting the resort for more than 10 years, and for us it remains not only the best resort in Greece, but truly a world-class destination — a place that combines luxury, relaxation, outstanding service, sports, entertainment, and an atmosphere of the highest standard. From the very first moment, we were impressed by the warm champagne welcome at the reception from Andrei and his assistant Victoria, who made us feel special right away. Throughout our stay, the staff was kind, professional, smiling, and always ready to help. We would also like to give special thanks to Angelika from Grill by the Pool and Sandy ,George from Bousoulas Bar, as well as Sissy and Kennedy at the beach, who all contributed to the wonderful atmosphere with their professionalism, attention, and incredible positive energy. The rooms are spacious, modern, and perfectly maintained, while the beach is clean, beautifully organized, and ideal for a truly relaxing holiday. The restaurants offer exceptional variety together with outstanding food quality and service. We were especially impressed by the wide range of sports and entertainment activities that make the stay unforgettable for both adults and children. The tennis sessions at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center with Kleantis and Katerina are organized at an exceptionally high level, the football activities with Aris are fantastic, and the bicycles we used with the help of Christos added even more enjoyment and activity to our holiday. This is a place that makes us come back again and again every single year. The entire resort creates the feeling of a true premium experience combined with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We would highly recommend Sani Beach / Sani Club to anyone looking for the highest level of comfort, service, sports, entertainment, and an unforgettable holiday experience — a resort that, in our opinion, is among the very best in the world. ‎

From the beginning everything was amazing. The welcoming experience is one of the best from the Reception teams. Andrei welcomed us warmly with a sparkling wine and we got the rooms directly. Anastasia and Dora from Spa are amazing professionals and would highly recommend to visit it. Kennedy from the pools has very good energy and is always making the holidays with his presence and Sissy always looks after us. Kostas from Poseidon and Sandy/Angelica/George/Dionisis from Grill by the pool provide the best experience. Also George from the Bousoulas Beach bar always takes care of us for the last 7 years. Do not miss to visit the Bousoulas Beach bar especially during sunset. Kleanthis and Aris are the best duo in the Sports Department.

“Sani resort and Ilia’s especially!”

Sani resort is fantastic, however what made our holiday special was the service of the staff. I would like to thank Ilias especially as he went over an above for all our needs and requirements, his service and professionalism was A*.

The Sani Beach does a lot of things very well, but unfortunately there were also some major downsides that significantly impacted our holiday which we are halfway through. The first room we were shown was extremely disappointing — dark, gloomy, and located at the end of a corridor facing away from the sea, with a small patio overlooking rocks and foliage. We immediately returned to reception as there was no way we could have spent 10 days there. Although an alternative wasn’t initially offered, we asked to view a sea view room and ended up paying an extra €532 for essentially the same room, just with a better outlook. Unfortunately, the biggest issue throughout our stay was the air conditioning. We discovered on our first evening that the room was unbearably hot, only to be told that all rooms are preset to 23°C and guests cannot adjust them. We were advised to leave the patio doors open instead, which resulted in being bitten badly by mosquitoes and dealing with cigarette smoke drifting in from neighbouring balconies. After several complaints over multiple days, the hotel changed the system to “neutral”, which simply recirculated the warm air and made little difference. By day five, no real solution had been offered. A fan was provided, but it only moved the hot air around the room. Considering the price and standard of this hotel, fully functioning and controllable air conditioning really should be a basic expectation. We were eventually offered a larger room, but with the same air conditioning issue, so we declined. The rooms themselves also feel quite dated. The lighting in the bedroom was extremely poor, making the room feel even darker in the evenings, and the bathrooms are desperately in need of refurbishment for a hotel charging these kinds of prices. Sadly, all of this has completely affected our sleep and overall enjoyment of the holiday. We travel frequently and have never experienced a hotel where guests are unable to control the room temperature. That said, the staff throughout the resort have been excellent. The restaurant teams, beach staff, buggy drivers and housekeeping staff are all superb, and the hotel itself is immaculately clean. Another major downside is the pricing of food and drinks. Although we are staying on half board, the menus have become repetitive quite quickly when you have allergies. If you want to order from the à la carte menu, you only receive a €20 allowance per person, which barely covers anything when starters alone begin at around €30. Charging €18.50 for an Aperol Spritz also feels excessive — far more than you would expect to pay even in many high-end restaurants in the UK. Overall, the hotel has many positives, but for the price being charged, the issues with the air conditioning, dated rooms and excessive food and drink prices are difficult to overlook.
