The hotel is cosy and full of charm, perfectly located in the heart of Nafplio's old town. Although access is pedestrian, it’s totally worth it for the peaceful vibe and stunning views. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and caring. Homemade omelette… delicious! Highly recommended if you're looking for a warm, welcoming place with real character. I can’t wait to return!

“Breathtaking views 🥰✨️”

I've had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful apartment as well. Highly recommend 10/10, everything I could want, and more. Fantastic service, food, cleanliness, and the rooms were just amazing. The view across the city at night was just beautiful and breathtaking ✨️🫶🥂

I agree with previous guests that the hotel has a lot of advantages; clean, quiet, close to everything and above all super nice view! Also, the women working were super friendly, helpful, humorous so could not ask for better staff! As far as we could count there are only 5 rooms so very quiet and no queing! I just want to raise a concern about hotels/pensions in Nafplio as many have ratings between 4,5 and 5 and one advantage that is highlighted is a superb breakfast. We expected homemade or local products of high quality, at least fresh orange juice as Nafplio literally lies in a huge orange grove. However the only home cooked food was a plain omelet. Variety of dishes was not big and not of very high quality from my judgement. So I cannot understand that other guests have praised the breakfast and I would like to inform others about that. The hotel is quite new (from 2011 I think) and therefore is modern and well kept. But the hotel’s interior is quiet plain, far from what I consider a design hotel. Beds were on the hard side. So to sum up; I have no problems in recommending this hotel as it is very practical and nice. But it’s not a 4,7 seen from my perspective.

As I often do, I wrote down the plus and minuses of this hotel and my list goes like this: We had chosen this hotel as it was pet-friendly but we found out it was only to a point. Pets are not allowed on the terrace at breakfast - while I realised a bit late in the day that this was mentioned on the website (I don't remember reading about it when I booked six months earlier), there had been no mention of it when booking. Our very quiet dog had just stayed at a five-star hotel in Monemvasia where she was treated like a queen so this was a bit of a letdown. We were supposed to have been told when we checked in but it didn't happen...Never mind. Breakfast was just about OK - cheap packaged orange juice in the land of orange groves never goes down well. Coffee was fine. Croissants OK. Cheese and ham slices the cheapest one can find at the supermarket. We had to move to another talbe as the staff could not move the sun umbrella over to our table (why??). Staff were friendly enough and made us welcome as much as they could. The biggest drawback for me was the fact that (yes, it was during a heatwave) the whole place was ultra-stuffy. The air conditioning in the reception area could not cope and all windows were closed throughout most of our stay. When I took the dog out for an early walk, I realised that every single window in the common areas was closed tight and the place was like an oven. As someone who lives with an immuno-compromised person, this is very worrying. The CO2 levels were high and that means that the risk of catching any airborne virus ('flu, Covid, RSV...) which are still rife at the moment, was very high, especially with no ventilation at all. Our room was clean but also very stuffy and had a strong musty smell when we arrived. We soon opened the door to the charming balcony (lovely view) but as soon as we closed it, the smell came back. The bathroom had recently been refurbished but it looked like the tiler had missed a bit behind the door! The jacuzzi bath was great but there was no hook for the shower to attach to, making it difficult to have a hands-free shower (I like baths, my husband likes showers, he's the one who suffered impractical showering this time, I'm afraid). Towels were small and thin - could do better in this area too. While the girl at reception came to meet us when we called the hotel, she helped with the luggage (we didn't have that much, having packed a small suitcase for our two nights), which we very much appreciated. However, the hotel website states that there will be no help available with luggage - in hotel language, that means 'go to hell, we're not here to help' and for that reason alone, we felt this place does not deserve much praise, even less so as a 'designer' hotel, apart from some quirky lighting. It's less than ten minutes down the steps to Nafplio's old town but next time we will choose a better-located hotel near the quay, with better facilities all round. We had great hopes for this place and were aware of its pitfalls (steps, no lift, high above the town) but were, sadly, disappointed by the overall experience.
