“Amazing”

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. Staff was very helpfull and the room and facilities were great. Especially Julie and Yehia were amazing!

This place is a hidden gem near Amsterdam, and great for those who normally find Amsterdam hotel rooms to be claustrophobic. Even the most basic studios are cavernous - more than double the size you'd expect a European hotel room to be, well-decorated, super quiet, and clean - and they even have full kitchens with a dishwasher and working combination microwave/convection oven (cooks frozen pizza perfectly on the convection setting). Not to mention it is FANTASTIC value for money - especially if you have AAA/CAA. SUPER easy to get into the Amsterdam city centre via the 195 bus and tram 2. A relatively short bus ride from close to the hotel pulls right onto a tram stop - no need to change platforms! Just be aware that the bus between the hotel and the tram stop does not accept the GVB day passes, but I believe there is some sort of pass that covers both. It wasn't too expensive when I tapped my credit card on and off the 195 bus. There is also a medium-sized grocery store that you can get to by taking the 195 bus 2 stops - and a smaller one at Schiphol that you can get to via the free shuttle. The pool area in the main hotel is lovely and warm. That said, I wish they'd enforce the pool rules better as there were quite a few obnoxious individuals near the pool - and fix the lockers in the changerooms. Don't miss the 747 tour! It's free for some Marriott elites. You can even walk around outside the 747 which was quite neat. That said, do be aware that if you book in the apartment section there's no breakfast benefit for Platinum + and the apartment section has half point earnings, and don't expect an upgrade beyond being placed on the 5th floor - but I was more than happy with the basic studio here. I didn't try the restaurants at all, apart from getting a free coffee using a coupon I was given. I would definitely recommend this fun hotel!

“Good hotel at Amsterdam Airport”

Stayed here this week for 3 nights. Overall a really good experience and a very nice Residence Inn. The good: -The room was awesome. Very spacious and included a kitchenette well-stocked kitchenette. Tons of space for clothes and luggage. Nice living area. Very comfortable bed and really great shower too. -The breakfast was fantastic every morning. This isn't your typical free breakfast like you would get in the US. Eggs, bacon/sausage, espresso/coffee/juices, salad, pastries, bread, meats & cheeses, and fruit. -The staff was awesome all-around. Both the front-desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. -Hotel is connected to the tribute portfolio Corendon hotel next store - this is where all of the restaurants, spa, bar, cinema, etc. are. Opportunities: -The shuttle only picks up every half hour. If you just miss it like I did a couple times, you will need to wait nearly 30 minutes which is a while. It often runs 5-10 minutes behind, and doesn't have great room for luggage (it is a normal bus). Also, it cost 5 euro to take the shuttle back to the airport (to the hotel is free). I never have had to pay for an airport hotel shuttle before. They really could use another shuttle. -When I arrived, housekeeping had not fully cleaned my room. I went back down for another room, and the second room was also not fully clean. Both rooms had dirty towels still in them. My third room was finally good. When I showed the front desk staff they were super apologetic, and gave me a free dinner voucher for the restaurant next door. It was only good for that evening, and expired before I could use it (I had dinner plans already for that night). -I never got my free-drink voucher that they said to stop back down to get. I tried 3 times and they never had them. Overall, a really great hotel with some minor opportunities. i would stay again!

This hotel had nice efficient staff. It is very clean & smelt nice throughout the corridors. The apartment was more than what we expected. It looks just like the pictures. There is a dishwasher, microwave, plenty of kitchenware/utensils. Smart tv in different languages & You Tube. The bed is in between soft & hard but I was comfortable, extra pillows in closet & we requested extra duvets which was no issue. There is a shop on site (a lil pricey) there is a supermarket in the airport ALBERT HEIJN where you can get everything. The leisure area..pool is nice & warm, hot sauna & steam room too. The 2 things here which they could improve on … the lockers in female changing room have no keys so don’t bring your valuables & the wet floor needs cleaning more often (bring your flip flops). Shuttle service (a bus) is great always on time! Picks up every 30 mins & the journey is 10-15 mins max! From the airport to find shuttle, exit, turn right follow sign to HOTEL SHUTTLE. Several pickups for different hotels. Schedule is displayed there too. The fast train to Amsterdam takes 20mins. We also did the plane tour which was €3 if you’re a member it’s free…runs everyday except Sunday.
