The things that made this parc the best experience ever: it is a small parc, with only the essentials, the houses are in the premium segment, it is in the middle of nature, it has a swimming pool, it has a very nice restaurant, though there are no activities for kids there is plenty of space to go outside and if you like cycling this is the place to be. within 15-30min drive with the car there are plenty of activities for kids in the area.

“Great place to relax! ”

Just came back from a week stay at this parc. We enjoyed the luxury in the villa( number 88). Great bed, bath and sauna! Dining in the restaurant is a must do! We had the fondue which was fantastic. Just came back from a week stay at this parc. We enjoyed the luxury in the villa( number 88). Great bed, bath and sauna! Dining in the restaurant is a must do! We had the fondue which was fantastic. Staff is very friendly. Parc is located in a very quiet spot, just a few km from the villages Lemele and Lemelerveld, where you can get your groceries. A few beautiful places to walk are very close to the parc. We enjoyed the Lemelerberg and the Sallandse heuvelrug. Would have loved to stay a bit longer, hope to go back in the near future!

Nice sized wellness cottage that was well appointed, a little bit worn in places (especially the stair banister and staircase wall) but clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Lumpy pillows though :( Lovely furnished outside space and very well-maintained grounds. All the opening windows and the back door had mosquito nets which was a nice touch. Lots of storage. There are no bins located around the resort, there is just one central place to dispose of rubbish which became bit inconvenient for disposing of our dog’s poo bags. We went at a time that wasn’t particularly busy, the park was maybe at 50% capacity and this was busy enough as there are some nice facilities but I imagine that at peak times it would feel overcrowded. There is one tennis court, one small playground and a swimming pool of which opening hours were extended till 4 o’clock in the afternoon on the hottest days but otherwise it closes at 11:30 in the morning. I went into the pool once with my son but the something in the water (I don’t know if it was the chlorine level) made my eyes sting so much that I couldn’t go in again although my son was completely fine and had a good time. We requested an extra towel package during our day as our towels were beginning to get a little bit dirty after a few days and we were charged €13.50 for this unexpectedly so something to bear in mind. We ordered the luxury breakfast for two once during our stay which was fine but strangely proportioned - for example there was one croissant, one tub of yoghurt, and one pot of muesli (there were other items in the package but my point is that you would expect two of each item if it’s for two people). I guess you eat half a croissant each? Also, our breakfast order hadn’t registered on the system (along with other orders that people had come to collect) so the one member of staff that was on duty had to make up many breakfasts so there was a bit of a wait. We ate at the on-site restaurant on the first night which was good enough but nothing spectacular. The portion of vegetables that I received with my steak dinner was strange - one small floret of broccoli, a couple of slices of carrot and about 2 inches of white asparagus. (The place to eat if you come here is for sure in Nijverdal where we had some really delicious meals). I think the communication for the resort could be streamlined; there’s communication on email in the lead up to arrival; there’s an app which half-works (some links don’t work, some links are for info only, you can’t book anything) and then there’s also a separate customer portal where you CAN book extras. It would be good if there was just one central location where you could access all information for the stay and order any extras that you wanted. I think they’re also missing an opportunity by championing local produce - sourcing milk, eggs, jam, bread etc from local farms. When we checked out, nobody asked if we’ve had a nice stay, which I thought was a bit odd and unfriendly. All in all a very pleasant stay, but if I was to stay in a resort like this again my preference would be to go somewhere like Hof Van Saksen which is more of a hybrid between a hotel and a self-catering holiday resort. One last point is that the location is very beautiful. There are lots of lovely walks and bike rides to go on in the countryside.

We took a long weekend there with our daughter of three years old. The studio was nicely decorated with sufficient kitchenware. Nice bathroom. No air-conditioning and little windows to open that it can get very warm on a sunny day. The swimming pool was good to swimming but it has no guard and no other fun things to play with for kids so keep that in mind. We decided to have a family dinner in the restaurant. Just that the waiting time for our main course after the appetizers was more than an hour which was ridiculous. No one came to our table to let us know what was going on and we went asking for our food three times and each time we were told it was coming. We asked for our dessert right after the main course as we didn't want to wait further. But that also took over 15 mins. We asked for a children's ice cream and they came with caramel taste and raspberry taste. Not something very common for kids so we adults ate that eventually. We were told they would check what they could do for us but nothing happened. The restaurant manager asked us on our way out how it was and so we repeatedly say it took too long. She said she would pass it onto the chef. During check out we were asked again how everything was so we repeated the story but they were displeased that we put our review onto their Facebook page. Well they had been given many chances to make up for it by either going for a free drink round or whatsoever. So real shame that is.
