Fasano is the premier hotel chain in Brasil. The Angra property follows the same tradition : outstanding service, elegant and understated ambience /décor, generous-sized rooms and facilities. The pools and spa are very good. They can arrange tours or transfers from/to SP or Rio with first -class contractors. The only drawback is because the property is distant from town centre, if you stay for 4+ nights, you are stuck with the hotel’s Italian restaurants , which although very good, don’t offer much variety.

The hotel was very secluded within a gated community, and the views are lovely. The rooms were clean and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. We thought the breakfast included was outstanding, and the Italian restaurant for dinner was good. We especially liked the fish dishes. The hotel booked Angra Tours for our transfer from Rio and back. They were excellent. The concierge who we communicated before the trip was less reliable. We thought we had booked a trip to Paraty and an all day boat trip. However, when we arrived, this was not booked. Luxxboat was able to get a boat and river last minute, and it turned out fine. The pool was nice and the gym is very large with lots of equipment. Overall, a great experience.

The hotel itself is incredibly nice , great structure, beautiful view, ample, spacious bedrooms and a great assortment of food during breakfast Although most of the workers were extremely nice , the menu had missing item throughout the week , the amenities left in the bedroom at night, although the room was occupied by a family of 3 were left for 1 person only In a couple of times , the turndown was asked if it could happen on 30’ (baby was asleep or one of the guests was in the shower) and after an affirmative answer- it did not occur Food was delicious, but took forever to be served , and as mentioned above , the same item was at fault for many days in a row (simple dishes as mini hamburgers ) At the kids place , the pool was great , but no Umbrella was offered to be protected by the sun We felt like the hotel was working on a soft opening - due to the simple and recurring mistakes - not expected by the price that was paired and the weight Fasano carries

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing due to poor service and frequent miscommunication. Throughout my stay, I encountered several issues with the front desk staff, who seemed disorganized and were often unhelpful. There were multiple misunderstandings regarding my requests, and I speak Portuguese, so no reason for that! I felt that the front desk team lacked the professionalism and efficiency expected from a hotel of this standard. On a more positive note, I would like to highlight the staff at the breakfast area. They were always polite, attentive, and made my mornings much more pleasant. Their friendly attitude was a bright spot during my stay. In summary, while some staff members were very nice, especially during breakfast, the front desk service left much to be desired. I hope the management will address these issues to improve the overall guest experience.
