Every member was incredibly welcoming and always willing to help. Every person we interacted with was very nice, and the ones we got to spend time with we built a bond and felt very welcome and that everyone truly wanted us to have an amazing experience. Wilca brought us welcome drinks and continued to make us feel special throughout our stay, greeting us and checking in with our needs daily. Jose Simeon was so helpful throughout the week, sending us helpful information daily, answering all of our questions, and thoroughly greeting and checking in with us every time he was around. Everyone at the spa was wonderful, Santa did amazing work! Everyone working in the pool bar and lunch area were so friendly and happy always checking in on us! Jennifer was very attentive, fast, and made delicious perfect drinks every time! Luisito made the best margarita pizza we have ever had, he is so talented. Fernando helped us at restaurants multiple nights and always was very kind and helpful. Room service was efficient and friendly. The housekeeping team was phenomenal and always made our room perfect and feeling like we were at home. We were so excited every night to come back so see the different flowers or details in the bed and bathroom they did to make it feel extra special. We were so thankful to have such a beautiful space to stay in and it was kept stocked and comfortable the entire stay. Benjamin was always around the 10/10 activities. There was such a fun variety and they were all so well done, relaxing, and overall a great time! We looked forward to attending the activities and felt excited to see Ben, Franklyn, Talia, and everyone else that helped with pottery, painting, Spanish Lessons, candle making, cigar rolling, coconut leaf hat making, jewelry making, and all the other interesting options! I loved aqua spinning and the instructor was funny and made the workout a great time with his energy and vibe. We loved yoga with Grace who led us through beautiful yoga flows. We enjoyed the different tastings at the lobby bar, like the martini tasting. Joel from the lobby bar was the most attentive bartender we have ever been served by. He was on top of making sure we were satisfied and was extremely attentive and friendly. He made us feel so welcome and made us want to stay longer since we loved spending the evening there with him. One of the highlights of our week was meeting amazing people like Joel and Wilca who we felt close to by the end of our time spent at the incredible Zoetry resort. A big part of what made our trip so special was not only how stunning the style and design of the buildings made you feel immersed, but the people on the team are the ones that made this trip above and beyond what we ever could have expected. We feel so lucky to have gotten to experience this teams genuine service, and we cannot wait to come back and visit our family soon! Thank you all for a phenomenal experience!

“Awesome and relaxing place”

It was awesome. Being someone that doesn't drink, I thought it was going to be boring. It was so not the case. There were activities throughout the day and plenty of downtime. We met a nice could from England and enjoyed talking with them.

We stayed at the Zoetry for 10 nights last month in an Oceanfront suite which was beautifully appointed in every way. Our concierge Emmanuel was wonderful. He checked with us daily to see how we were managing and answered every question thoroughly. Unquestionably, the resort is extremely opulent in appearance and every area was inviting and immaculate. There was never a problem securing a palapa at the beach or chairs at the main pool. The fitness room was also immaculate and well equipped. We didn’t use the spa but guests who did said it was a great experience. The resort contains only 90 suites so one of the things we enjoyed most was seeing the same people and engaging in wonderful enlightening conversations at the beach or over cocktails. The resort isn’t advertised as adults only, but there aren’t any activities for children and the resort really isn’t conducive to a family vacation. We had breakfast each morning at the Indigo cafe where there are lovely tables with direct ocean views. Our server Chamel always had a cheerful greeting and was a most attentive server. The fruits were fresh and seasonal. The waffles, pancakes and French toast looked great, the omelettes were dry and tasteless. It made me wonder if the eggs were powdered. The sunny side and eggs over easy were the best choice if eggs are your breakfast food of choice. The standout meal of our entire stay were the beachside barbecues with Chef Feliciano who masters Mexican, Dominican, Caribbean and traditional American bbq food. The salads were crisp and beautifully presented. All of his cooked food each afternoon was on par with some of the high quality NY restaurants we frequent. Hyatt should really consider putting him in charge of their food service at this resort. He’s truly talented. Dinners each night was hit and miss. We need to mention Gloriana who was the poolside server who was also polite and very attentive to whatever we or other guests needed, We’ve been to many AI resorts and don’t expect Michelin quality food. We just expect food to be fresh, served at the proper temperature and nicely presented. This was true at Amiya Restaurant when they were serving Abbado (beef). There were nights this restaurant served Latin Fusion (Latin and Asian), which we did not like. Ironic, there was a Mexican restaurant for dinner which was awful as verified by some of the other guests who concurred. Yet, Chef Feliciano’s Mexican lunch at the beach was fabulous! There are two bars at the Zoetry. The first is located at the pool and the liquor is top shelf and requests for brands are not an issue. The pool bar also made great pizza which was another option for lunch or an early dinner. We found the best choices for dinner were Amiya when serving steak, the Mediterranean menu ( we liked the seafood and the lambchops), and the Surf and Turf option at the Caribbean restaurant. At our level of accommodation, we were given the option of a beachside dinner which had its own menu and specialty wine list which was a lovely option. The Italian restaurant was not our favorite either. We found the sauces to be bland and not as palatable as the Abbado or Mediterranean choices. The only other bar is in the lobby with quite likely one of the best bartenders in the Caribbean. Joel aka “Diablo” is a personable and quite entertaining gentleman. His special creations with his special spiced honey are not to be missed. Aside from his incredible talent for making great cocktails, he is a great conversationalist and extremely attentive to his patrons even when the bar is busy. In conclusion, despite the cuisine, we had a lovely stay. If the dinner food selections improved, we would consider returning for another vacation.
