We (2.adults and a 9yr old) really enjoyed our stay. Pofessional and welcoming staff on reception, friendly bar and waiting staff, lovely pools and great room. We also loved having easy access to the boulevard along the coast. Not 5 star because I have a nut allergy and pool bar couldn't tell me ingredients for the menu (poke bowl) and at one point told me nothing was suitable for me- there was plenty I could eat (burger, pizza, sandwhich) but I think they panicked.

I recently stayed at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace as a solo traveller and decided to upgrade to Privilege - and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Maria helped me with the Privilege upgrade, and I honestly can’t thank her and the team enough for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality throughout my stay. It really made a difference travelling alone. I did have a small issue with my room due to my own noise sensitivity (not the hotel’s fault at all), but it was handled immediately and efficiently. I’d definitely recommend that if anything comes up during your stay, you contact reception straight away - there are clear contact details provided in the room, and the staff are very responsive and helpful. The Privilege rooftop terrace was a real highlight - such a relaxing space with beautiful views, plus all inclusive drinks and snacks available. It felt like a peaceful little escape within the hotel. There are plenty of pools to choose from, and the staff across the hotel were consistently friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the entertainment especially the Ethiopian acrobatics show, which was something a bit different and very impressive. Although I didn’t bring trainers so didn’t use it, the gym looked well-equipped, with a cable machine, leg curl machine, and a good range of cardio equipment. Another great perk was the Privilege bar near reception, which made grabbing a drink quick and easy. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel - especially if you’re considering the Privilege upgrade. It added that extra level of comfort and ease that made my solo trip feel special. The only letdown was the housekeeping service in the Privilege block. Despite raising this with staff, cups and glasses were not consistently replaced, and bottled water was not replenished. Even after moving rooms from the fifth to the sixth floor, the issue persisted. After long days in the sun, it was disappointing to return to the room to find dirty coffee cups and no water available.

This is our second time staying at Adeje Palace. On arrival we checked into a room which was below the standard of the room we had booked last time (both were standard rooms) .. the bathroom had a smell, there were 2 balconies - the main one did not lock and the other had a 2 inch gap underneath letting in light and noise. Of course we went straight to reception to deal with this issue and were told there were no rooms available and they couldn’t do anything. We spend the day by the pool and in the evening we asked again and nothing had changed, it was our idea to upgrade to a family room and paid for the difference (which was more than the difference online but we didn’t care we needed a new room). We reported this to the manager on the same day and sadly they had been told an entirely different story from the reception staff saying they OFFERED us the upgrade free of charge on the spot. The audacity… absolute lies. And absolutely no refund was offered or a percentage given back to us offered. After much back and forth over email they realised there were some major miscommunications (LIES) from the reception staff. A few days in and the room beside us began having renovations done so we were woken up at 8am on a 3 occasions due to the banging, loud voices and machinery noise from next door. I don’t understand why they couldn’t do it during the day when people are in the sun. The pool facilities are good, lots of pools to choose from and plenty of loungers. The restaurant staff were in general helpful. I have a gluten free allergy and was disappointed by the lack of labelling . They make it very inaccessible for those with allergies … even asking for gluten free bread every morning, I had to stand around for 5 minutes while they defrosted it even though I had it every day, they never had any prepared. On a few occasions I had to ask 2 or 3 members of staff just for some bread and it just made breakfast that big more of a hassle. On checkout that was probably our smoothest transition however when we handed in our wrist bands they tried to charge us twice for using the safety box in our room. Overall I am saddened by our stay especially as it was our second time here, we had a very different experience this time.
