“A wonderful hotel at a great location and great customer service”

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a nice mall. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and the executive lounge. I highly recommend staying at this hotel (book an executive room to take advantage of breakfast and access to the executive lounge).

We stayed here as a family with two kids and had adjoining rooms, which were spacious and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and polite throughout our stay, and their service really stood out—especially when we had an issue with the washer/dryer late at night. Two staff members came promptly to help, and although the appliance couldn’t be fixed on the spot, their professionalism and friendliness were much appreciated. The rooms were well equipped with large-screen TVs and a decent channel selection, though we didn’t spend much time watching. The main bathroom felt a little dated, with a small leak from the shower glass and limited powerpoints for hair appliances. A clothes airer would have been a useful addition, especially since the room included laundry facilities. The complimentary minibar was a nice touch, though it wasn’t restocked after the first day. One of the biggest conveniences was the hotel’s direct connection to the Gurney Plaza shopping precinct. It has everything from convenience stores to higher-end retail, plus an impressive range of food options to suit every taste and budget. Having that variety right next door made meals and last‑minute purchases incredibly easy. Facilities around the hotel were excellent. The pool was a good size, comfortably warm, and never crowded, with plenty of chairs and shaded spots. The gym was spacious and well equipped for both cardio and weights. Breakfast offered a nice variety of fresh, tasty options—nothing overly extensive, but enough to please everyone, and the ice cream was a fun holiday treat. Wifi was available throughout the hotel, though occasionally laggy, which seemed to be more of a local infrastructure issue than the hotel itself. If you can book a package with Executive Lounge access, it’s worth it—the harbour views are beautiful, and the afternoon snacks and cocktails make for a perfect break after sightseeing in Georgetown. Overall, this hotel offered a welcoming atmosphere, great facilities, and attentive service. A few small improvements in room amenities would make the stay even better, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
