Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at Amirandes was nothing short of spectacular. It is a hotel that manages to strike a rare balance between striking modern design and a deep respect for traditional Greek architecture. The constant presence of water throughout the grounds creates a serene atmosphere, and the initial view through to the sea upon arrival is truly breathtaking. What sets this resort apart is how it defies the "all-inclusive" stereotype. Rather than feeling like a number in a large operation, we were treated to thoughtful personal touches throughout our stay. It feels like a boutique experience on a grand scale. The Accommodation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The cleanliness of our room was impeccable, and the bed provided an exceptionally comfortable night's sleep. We stayed in a room with a private garden and pool; while it was somewhat overlooked by the tennis courts, the reception team was incredibly proactive, offering an immediate move to a more private location. We chose to stay put, but their willingness to resolve the issue was appreciated. The minibar was well-stocked, and having both a bath and a separate shower—a rare find—was a welcome luxury. A special mention must go to the management for granting us a complimentary late checkout until 8:00 pm, a generous gesture that made our final day incredibly relaxing. Dining Experiences Main Restaurant: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The buffet is set in yet another beautiful part of the resort. The food is fresh and plentiful, and the service is notably generous—unlike some all-inclusive experiences, the drinks and service felt completely unrestricted and high-end. While the quality is high, clearer labelling and a few more vegetarian options would be a brilliant improvement. Blue Monkey: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was a highlight of our trip. I can honestly say I had the best Chicken Tikka Masala of my life here. The team created an intimate, friendly dining experience that we cannot recommend highly enough. Facilities & Ambience Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel offers a brilliant beach location with plenty of space and a wonderful pool area. The pool bar team is excellent, and there are ample loungers to enjoy the seaside scenery. It is worth noting the pool is not heated, which was fine for us but may be a consideration for others. The bars and restaurants have a great ambience, though as the hotel is very popular with families, the main bar can get quite lively with children in the evening. A dedicated adults-only bar area would be a lovely addition for those seeking a quieter nightcap. Staff & Management Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The staff are the true heart of this hotel. From a seamless check-in to the warmest daily interactions, the team here is a credit to Greek hospitality. We would like to extend particular praise to George (Bar), Evalena (Blue Monkey), Crissy (Reception), and Maria (Front of House) for making our stay so memorable. Final Verdict: Amirandes is a stunning hotel with wonderful food and architecture. While its sophisticated aesthetic might suggest a couples-only retreat, it is very much a family-orientated destination that still manages to feel personal and exclusive. We would highly recommend a stay here.

When you enter the hotel the lake view is amazing and it’s connecting with the ocean something that reminds me of a movie scene .Restaurants are well maintained but service is not the best .There is one big pool with quick access to the beach and the water was cold but when the sun is shining is not a problem at all.Hats off to the sports instructor Costas that he collected all the possible people of the sports park and create a wonderful tournament! All in all nice experience with a lot of fun and sports !

We are just coming to the end of our short stay here at Amirandes Grecotel in Crete, and we must say we do not want to leave. From arriving at the hotel we were greeted like old friends. Polina was our go too and she did not disappoint. Friendly , helpful beyond belief , quick to reply with any questions we had or requests made. Thank you, you are a real credit to the hotel . Check in was very smooth and on our arrival at our infinity pool villa we could not have been happier. A real wow factor. Built over 2 floors the duplex villa has a wonderful infinity pool over looking the Aegean Sea with a lovely seating area to enjoy the views and day beds to relax on. We stayed on the All Inclusive package. This entitled us to all meals in the main restaurant, as well as all soft and alcoholic drinks in the bars, restaurants and mini bar (stocked daily). We were also entitled to eat in any of the 4 al a carte restaurants where we received a credit of up to €20 each towards dinner. On our first night we ate at the Blue Monkey, a great pan Asian restaurant serving authentic Chinese cuisine. We also dined at the Minotaur Deck, a floating island overlooking the sea . This accrued an extra €100 for the privilege but all food and drink were included in the price and an amazing dinner it was. A truly special experience , catered by a group of individuals who really made the meal memorable. Highly recommended. At the main restaurant we enjoyed breakfast In the mornings, sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine, sipping on lovely cappuccino and enjoying the sumptuous breakfast on offer. Which featured a vast array of offerings, from hot breakfast items such as, bacon, sausage omelettes and various egg options, to cold meats, cheeses, pastries and fresh fruit to name just a few. It is a great way to start your day. The hotel itself is vast , stretching out along the beach, with spectacular views over the sea. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel . It really is a gem and one we hope to return to in the future.
