Fab hotel that go out of their way to help you . Bar staff friendly and funny . Restaurants amazing , gluten free options and they make gluten free pizza . ! Hotel is spotless

“A solid hotel, but not quite amazing without those finishing touches”

We have stayed at this hotel five times now, and unfortunately this visit didn’t fully live up to our previous experiences. We have stayed at this hotel five times now, and unfortunately this visit didn’t fully live up to our previous experiences. The rooms are fantastic—spacious, especially the family rooms, and always very clean. The facilities and pools are excellent, with plenty of places to sit, relax, have a drink, and enjoy your holiday. The drinks themselves were also very good. However, the main disappointment this time was the food and overall selection. At breakfast, there used to be a wide continental choice, but it felt very limited during this stay. The fruit selection was reduced to oranges, grapefruit, and a mixed fruit salad, whereas on previous visits there were bananas, kiwis, and a variety of melons. The bacon was also not of the same quality as before. For evening meals, the choice was quite restricted if you don’t like fish. There was plenty of fish available, but fewer alternatives such as pork or steak. Introducing more variety—perhaps themed nights like Mexican, Asian, or Spanish—would really improve the experience and break up what felt like a repetitive buffet. We also found some of the chefs to be quite unpleasant. There were several occasions where food trays were empty, even at the start of service, and timings seemed off in terms of food being ready. When we asked if more food could be prepared, the response was often reluctant and unhelpful. Also at meal times, there were times when nothing was available, yet towards the end of service large amounts were being cooked, which again suggested poor timing and organisation. Unfortunately, we ended up eating out more than expected. The food experience during this visit really let the hotel down for us, and it has made us uncertain about returning in the future.

The rest everything was very good. I think you must improve the variety of food and dessert/salad. Another minus is that smoking is not permitted except in a special space, not on the terrace, not at the bar, not by the pool. I think this is a big minus for those who smoke. And the experience at the à la carte restaurant is not truly à la carte; an à la carte experience should be different from a normal restaurant.
