“Excellent holiday _ we organised this review ourselves not thru trip advisor although we have used them in the past”
We stayed 4 days at Waikanae Motel and were very impressed with our room which was in a great location close to the beach, cafe and shops We would definitely use it again as the owner was very helpful and looked after us. Top marks to all the Gisborne people.Nga mihi Robson Whanau

“Visit to family”
The man on the counter was very helpful and even showed us a map with local eateries that gave discounts to hotel guests . Everything was clean and good quality . We appreciated the smart TV as we could watch our own Netflix . Would stay again

“I'd be back just for the hosts friendly smile!!”
Perfect little stay, room was clean, comfortable, comfy beds, had all the necessities. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Gave me some good pointers on where to go what to see etc. Beach and boardwalk 30 seconds walk away across the road. Fish and chip shop on street corner. Would highly recomm… more

“Great location near beach & walkable to town”
This was a lovely motel close to Waikanae beach which has a great walkway. Also walkable to town & other places e.g Tairawhiti museum.
