Second time at this resort. Great staff, beautiful layout, good / decent food depending on where you go. Osvaldy our butler was absolutely amazing, he made sure we always had what we needed and went above and beyond to ensure an amazing stay. If you get him as your butler you are in good hands ! Rooms were clean and made everyday, all bar staff were friendly and awesome. Michael Angelo hibachi chef is the best!

This was our third trip back to elegance. Somehow they always seem to make things better and better. Our Butler, Melvin Rojas is the best in my opinion on the Butler staff. He truly goes above and beyond to make you happy and does little things that we never even asked for. He always makes himself available, day or night. He always answers his texts, while on the resort and when we are at home in the US. He is always pleasant and extremely gracious in his service. He has been our butler for these three times that we have visited elegance, and he will be the only one that I ever will have to guide our stay. He makes our vacation a truly memorable and relaxing stay. He is more than just a butler to us now, he truly is a dear friend, and I will miss seeing him each and every day until we return. What can I say about the resort other than it is truly spectacular on so many levels. We love everything about the resort and truly had not one complaint. The grounds are kept beautiful, and the atmosphere is always happy and pleasant from all the staff and workers. The food at the buffets in all the restaurants was perfect! Always something that you can enjoy at each place. Needless to say, we will be back and can't wait to see our buddy Melvin as well as others that went above and beyond our expectations. “Good Experience”

Had a Great time with my family. Staff was super helpful and Friendly, Jesus, Joel, William and Angela were very attentive and nice. Our butler Gabriel helped us with anything we needed, would definitely go back.

The Majestic Elegance Punta Cana overall was good. The rooms were spacious and a great size for 2-adults. The fact that we had a pool with a swim up bar for our villa areas was amazing! When we traveled it wasn’t crowded. Housekeeping came everyday if needed. While there were many activities on site, the noise level was well managed. We enjoyed the 9:00pm nightly theatre show (favorites: karaoke, Beyoncé & MJ tributes). There was a really engaged Activity Coordinator (ugh sadly I can’t remember her name). She wore her hair up with a headband and you could tell she loved her job. A lounge (our room 3413) was readily available to us at our villa where we picked up / dropped big nice towels daily. Inria (maybe wrong) always was so sweet when we went to the lounge. And there was another young man who was helping me with Spanish. He thought I was from there D.R.. The lounge offered sandwiches, apples, desserts, fresh juice and hot drinks. Everything was spaced out well, didn’t feel overwhelmed or as if things were missing. You can feel lost initially, but it takes no time to figure out how to get everywhere. Our favorite restaurants were 9 Doors for hibachi / Sushi, IL Botaccuo (Italian & good French toast in morning) and Mar House (dinner). If I rated only based on staff I would say excellent. Our Butler, Rafael, was amazing from our check-in to check-out. He was welcoming, life family, and always kept us abreast of resort happenings. He made sure our restaurant reservations were booked. We would be around the resort and he made it priority to find us and check-in face to face. Another staff to mention was restaurant Waiter, Thomas. He greeted us with a beautiful smile and remembered us no matter which restaurant we visited (Flavors / Asadito Strakhouse). Why I rated 4? We were a family of 4 (2 adult children) and we all wished there were more food options. Mostly at the buffets, they are similar and you see the same thing all the time. The temperature of the food wasn’t hot, mostly luke warm. Our balcony light would never turn off (wasn’t on a sensor), so at night there was light in our room. I took some Benadryl to help me sleep, otherwise I’d be awake most of the night. Our Butler did come check and we figured out ours was one that wouldn’t go out. Some rooms was off and some stayed on like ours. Room shower should have a larger drain. We put a hand towel under the glass door because water always got out of the shower. There’s a lip that should prevent water from escaping, but it’s a drain size issue. Our villa’s main elevator was broke. Luckily Rafael let us know that we could use the service elevator. The last night I reported to staff that the service elevator lights went out inside, so you had to use your phone flashlight to prevent being in the dark. They came to fix the light (only 1:4 bulbs) and then that 1 bulb replaced went out again by the morning we left.
