We stayed at one of the first hotels to open in Aqaba, and it was a very good experience. The operations manager Yousri was very supportive, and Haya from the Front Office was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. My special gratitude goes to Abed from the Front Office, his dedication and continuous efforts to resolve our room issue were remarkable, and he truly went above and beyond. “Nice hotel”

I have stayed here for one night, last April, during a trip around Jordan - we were a group of 15persons. The hotel room was quite nice, clean. The breakfast was ok, not too many things to chose from but probably because it was before the season started (the hotel did not look fully booked) The hotel is close to the public beach, which might need some clean up (!women are not allowed in bathing suits, just shorts and tshirts). If you want to suntan, i recommend to ask the hotel reception to help with a booking for one of the shuttles that transport tourists to a private beaches.

“Good one night stay”

stayed at the Aqaba Gulf for one night during a business trip. Room is quite spacious with high ceilings, and great views of the Red Sea. Have not tried any F&B there so can't comment on anything related to that, however, I can say that the hotel is clean and tidy .. great for a one night stay in Aqaba if you are on a budget.

I stayed 4 nights at the Aqaba Gulf Hotel, I checked into it as part of an organized trip and it was the travel agency that booked this hotel for the entire group, probably because of the affordable rate, however it was not a good choice and my group informed the travel agency about this. Although the glass entrance of the hotel shows four stars, however in my opinion it's a three star hotel. 1. The hotel is basically old, and it's not well maintained. 2. There's a cleanliness issue, and I've heard many guests complaining about the lack of cleanliness, however I personally did not have any cleanliness issues with my room. 3. Staff were really courteous and professional, however I've heard other members of my group complaining about the late response time of the front desk staff. 4. I only had breakfast in the hotel: The buffet was humble, drinks consisted only of water/tea/coffee/2 juices options, the dessert/pastries were very limited and not fresh (in fact one morning the pastry was dry as if it was a leftover from the previous day), there was no fruits at all. 5. There's an outdoor swimming pool, but I did not use it. 6. My room was good and spacious, without any issues. 7. I would say the only advantage of the hotel is it's location.
