“Lovely accommodations with lake view”
Beautiful, new & clean accommodations. Free parking. Beautiful location. Enjoying the smaller lodging, scenery & quiet facilities. Wonderful & friendly staff. Lovely breakfast (included). Nice hot tubs with lake view.

“A perfect stay”
Hotel 1001, near Egilsstaðir, is owned by the husband-and-wife team Ástvaldur Erlingsson and Kristín, but managed by Wojciech and his wife, an amazing 35 year old couple with skill, confidence, poise and grace. “Lovely room, location and food”
Lovely setting and great room - very comfy. The staff were very welcoming. Had an amazing burger for dinner. Recommend stating here

“A gem in Iceland”
We totally enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was one of the best in Iceland. The dinner was also excellent. The staff are nice and friendly. The only minor issues were an odd smell coming from the shower waste when using the bathroom and the room could not be made completely dark. I am not sure wha… more
