“Alameda 41 - Great for families”

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had abroad. The staff were fantastic, very helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. We were a family of four, our children 10 and 13. The room was excellent, far better than I could have ever imagined. As well as 2 double beds (one of which was huge!), there was a separate ensuite toilet room, and a shower room which has 2 showers (!) as well as a basin area. Surprisingly, our room also had it's own kitchen, hobs, microwave and dining area - none of which I'd realised were part of our booking. So if we had wanted, we can have bought food in and dined there. However there was no need as this location is surrounded by restaurants, some of which catered very well for gluten free. The room was kept clean each day by staff which was great. The safe in the room was free to use...and the fridge had some complementary water, as well as having use of a kettle. Also our breakfast was really enjoyable - the staff in the restaurant was so lovely - very attentive and helpful...and they did gluten free breakfasts too including pastries! The location of this hotel is excellent for families - right across the road is the Valencia science and arts complex - such futuristic buildings that we were able to spend 3 full days at including the Oceangrafic, hemisferic, and Science center (interactive science for children and adults alike). Also our children were able to make good use of the boat and kayak hire - very safe as the water is shallow....and also we all rented some bikes and go-karts. Overall, I would really recommend this hotel for everyone - families, couples or singles - what a find!!

“Amazing location if you're going to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias”

This hotel is easily missed as a little entrance on the side of a big mixed use block. On arrival the staff were lovely and very helpful. Strangely the entire hotel is on the 1st floor and it spans the entire block. The room was nice. Our room faced the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Would have been a better view if it was on a higher floor, but prety nice all the same. Big bed, sofa (I think a sofabed) Bed pretty comfy. A couple of criticisms... I wouldn't come here as a couple as a first time away. This isn't necessarily a criticism of this hotel - for this trip we stayed in 3 hotels and the same can be said for one of the other two as well. The toilet was behind a glass door in the room. There wasn't much in the way of soundproofing and the ventilation wasn't very strong. If this is your first trip away with a new partner that might remove some of the mystery in the relationship. :-) As the entire hotel is on one floor, if you're in room 122 it's a really long walk to the room. The shower takes a long time to warm up. I assume that's because the hot water tank is near reception. :-) Breakfast is in an adjoining Sushi restaurant. Options are a bit limited compared to other hotels, but it is tasty. On arrival you get a big glass of nice orange juice then some granola and joghurt and a really sweet, sticky croissant. On the first morning it included blueberries and the 2nd it came with a fruit plate. Tea and coffee. Then a few options like scrambled eggs, omelette, bacon and toast. The toast is a ciabbata-like roll. The scrambled eggs are a bit omelette-like. On the 2nd day I ordered just the roll and bacon and there was a *lot* of bacon. The area is quite lively with quite a few bars and restaurants although even the louder establishments aren't that loud late on. It also looks over probably my favourite buildings in the world - Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Would happily recommend this hotel.

“Well situated, clean hotel”

Well situated opposite the Science Park. Very clean hotel with a nice breakfast. Staff were very pleasant, especially Anna who was most helpful. Only disappointment was the TV, which has no English speaking channels. Easy to explore the Park and also the beach, which is about 20 minutes walk away.
