We really loved our week at the Royal Level. The hotel is well set out, with plenty of greenery breaking up the buildings. The facilities are very good, and provided everything we needed. The gym was the best equipped we have seen in a hotel, with plenty of weights and equipment. The pool water was warm, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was generally excellent, though the lunch set menu is a bit limited if you are a vegetarian (as my wife is). However, on request the staff russled up special salads for her. On some days there was actually far too much choice... and I never got to try the cheese, as by then I was always too full with all the other dishes. The room was very good, with all that we needed. We had a third bed in the room, but because it is a two sections, it still didn't feel cramped. Room service was excellent, and sensitive to when we might be in the room and when we had left for the morning. The staff are gems, be that waiters in the restaurant, the cleaners or the reception staff. Everyone was friendly, and always willing to help out in any way they could. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a really enjoyable experience, with many standout positives that made for a very relaxing holiday. The staff throughout the hotel were absolutely fantastic. While a special mention must go to Pavel, Ely, Sergio, and Pablo (SOS guard), who were all outstanding in their roles, it really must be said that every single member of staff we came across was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and professional. The poolside and wait teams in particular consistently went out of their way to assist, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Pablo was especially attentive and reassuring around the pool area, and the whole team really do the Barceló name proud. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, very clean and well looked after, which adds to the overall sense of quality and calm. Rooms were also cleaned to a good standard each day, with housekeeping providing a reliable and consistent service throughout our stay. The food was a real highlight. For an all-inclusive, we were hugely impressed with the variety and quality on offer. Breakfast included a wide selection of fresh options and juices, along with the option to request freshly made omelettes or poached eggs (worth asking about as this isn’t immediately obvious). Lunch was exceptional, with the ability to order from a menu — something that really elevated the experience beyond a standard all-inclusive. Dinner was more of a traditional buffet style but still offered plenty of choice, including fresh salads, vegetables, and a good variety of hot dishes. We did have a couple of very minor issues with personal items going missing from the room during our stay. While this was disappointing, it’s worth noting that we quickly adapted by using the in-room safe, which we would strongly recommend for any valuables such as passports, laptops, jewellery, or other expensive items — something we did straight away afterwards without issue. Overall, this is a very strong hotel that really excels in service, food, and atmosphere. The staff in particular, make the experience exceptional, and we would happily return in the future.

We stayed here late January and sorry the review is a bit late. We were thoroughly impressed by the hotel and all the staff. The adults only royal level is situated just to the left of the main hotel, you can use the facilities of the main hotel if you wish, but we didn't. The royal level has its own pool and restaurant. Although there isn't a bar as such here, you order drinks at the restaurant or on the app and can enjoy these, by the pool or seating area any to the restaurant, even after our evening meal we just had drinks at the table or at the seating area. Absolutely fine. The restaurant is lovely and so is the food. They have quite a late breakfast finish time of 11.30, which good. The staff and food are lovely, remember to check the extra buffet dishes at the side if the left side of the bar, if you dont know, you could miss them. The adults pool area is nice, plenty of sun lounges, although there are the usual selfish ones who insist on reserving beds and dont use them for hours. I was unfortunate to have a bad fall in the room and the staff were brilliant, arranged an ambulance and re cleaned our room and left some food for when we returned back. There are curtesy buses into town if you wish to use them. Overall we would thoroughly recommend this hotel, and have in fact booked to return in September.
