The room was very spacious and incredibly comfortable, while the amenities especially the pool, beach, and breathtaking view made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable it was also very clean. The front desk staff were also excellent, particularly the guest relations lady, who was very approachable, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay.

Superb hotel and a great experience. While the resort is quite secluded and has nothing nearby, the place itself is fabulous. The infinity pool is great and the lounge is wonderful. It was a great experience and I would surely visit again.

I would like to divide my review into two parts: first, to recognize the outstanding staff, and second, to provide feedback for the resort's corporate management team. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally friendly. It was evident that they take great pride in their work and genuinely care about providing guests with an excellent experience. They consistently went above and beyond my expectations. Remarkably, within a short time, approximately 70% of the staff knew me by name, which made my stay feel very personal and memorable. Throughout my visit, I felt safe, valued, and well cared for. Any request I made was addressed promptly and professionally. The staff's appearance was always impeccable, with clean and well-presented uniforms. Their dedication and hospitality made me feel comfortable and at home during my stay. Now, I would like to address the property's advertised five-star rating, which, unfortunately, did not align with my experience. I have been fortunate to travel extensively around the world and stay at many luxury properties, including resorts such as the St. Regis, which remains one of my favorites. While I understand that every brand has its own standards and positioning, I believe this property currently falls short of what guests would reasonably expect from a five-star resort. In my opinion, the property's rating should be reassessed unless the corporate management team takes the necessary steps to ensure that maintenance, quality control, and guest accommodations consistently meet the standards associated with a top-tier luxury resort. Below are several issues I observed during my stay: * When making my reservation, I specifically requested a room away from the elevators. Despite this request, I was initially assigned Room 3315, directly across from the main elevators. After a long journey from Canada, I had to return to the lobby while exhausted and jet-lagged to request a room change. To the front desk staff's credit, they immediately apologized and reassigned me to Room 3311, which was located away from the elevators as originally requested. * After settling in and recovering from my travels, I noticed that the air-conditioning vents in my room appeared either heavily dust-covered or in need of cleaning and maintenance. * The closet doors were slightly off their tracks and could not be fully closed. Additionally, the cabinetry inside the closet appeared to be sagging in the middle. * The room featured a medium-sized kitchenette complete with cabinetry, a sink, a refrigerator, and even a vent hood. However, there was neither a cooktop nor a microwave provided. While I personally had no intention of cooking during my stay, the kitchenette’s configuration seemed unusual and incomplete. Including a vent hood without any cooking appliances did not appear to make practical sense and left the space feeling unfinished. * Both bedside lamps were loose and tilted forward. Additionally, the electrical outlet covers would detach whenever I plugged in my phone charger. Housekeeping kindly reattached them each day, but the issue remained unresolved. * The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was loose, visibly aged, and showing signs of rust. * The large wooden railing surrounding the infinity pool was visibly deteriorating and falling apart in several areas. Yellow caution tape had been placed throughout the area to prevent potential accidents. The purpose of this review is to hopefully reach the attention of the resort's management team. In my view, these are relatively minor issues that could be addressed without significant difficulty. Correcting them would greatly enhance the guest experience and help deliver the true five-star vacation experience that the property strives to offer. At present, I do not believe the resort consistently meets that standard. I would like to reiterate that the staff were absolutely exceptional. They were the highlight of my stay and played a significant role in making my vacation enjoyable. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication were evident every day. I genuinely felt comfortable and welcomed because of them. It is clear that they are doing their very best with the resources available to them. One aspect of the resort that prospective guests should be aware of is the significant impact that ocean tides have on the property’s private beach. During high tide—typically from mid-morning through mid-afternoon on sunny days—the water was crystal clear, beautiful, and ideal for swimming and enjoying the beach. However, as the tide receded later in the afternoon, the shoreline changed dramatically. By approximately 3:00 p.m., swimming was no longer practical, and by sunset, large portions of the seabed were visible. Some travelers may find this fascinating and appreciate the opportunity to observe the natural tidal patterns and marine environment. However, I was personally unaware of how pronounced the tidal changes would be and found it somewhat surprising, as I had never previously stayed at a beach resort where the tides had such a noticeable effect on the swimming conditions. This is not a criticism of the resort, but rather information that may help future guests better plan their beach activities and set appropriate expectations. To all staff members—including the front desk team, restaurant staff, clubhouse personnel, and housekeeping team—thank you for the wonderful hospitality and for making me feel at home during my visit. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate everything you did to make my stay enjoyable.
