One of the absolute highlights of our stay at Barceló Tenerife has been the food, especially the restaurants La Dolce Vita and Arrozante. La Dolce Vita was a fantastic Italian dining experience from start to finish. The food felt authentic, fresh, and beautifully balanced. For starters we had the Artusi, a delicious plate of thinly sliced veal with tuna sauce caper berries and sun dried tomatoes, alongside a delicious selection of breads, burrata, salami, and prosciutto. Every plate was full of flavour and beautifully presented. For mains, the veal fillet steak with rocket was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender, while the spaghetti con vongole was easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time — fresh, light, and packed with flavour. Dessert completely finished the evening off perfectly. The panna cotta was silky and delicate, while the torta della nonna and the lemon tart were both absolutely beautiful. Arrozante offered a completely different experience and was equally impressive. We experienced the Adrián Bosch Michelin-star tasting menu and every course felt creative, refined, and exciting without ever losing warmth or flavour. Highlights included the white fish ceviche with tiger’s milk and lime, the bluefin tuna belly brioche, the squid croquette with Canary prawn and kimchi, and the unforgettable red prawn and bone marrow rice. The traditional cheesecake with yuzu cream was also a perfect ending to an exceptional meal. Both restaurants delivered food that genuinely exceeded expectations and made our stay even more memorable

The facility is nice. Super clean. We never saw a single piece of trash anywhere. The landscaping is also beautiful. We booked a premium suite at Royal Level. The facility is nice. Super clean. We never saw a single piece of trash anywhere. The landscaping is also beautiful. We booked a premium suite at Royal Level. I requested my room choice 2 months in advance. A few days prior to arrival I received the rejection email, which did not leave enough time to choose another room. We were given a room above the lobby…. Furthest possible distance from the Royal level, pool and restaurant. this makes the option to “run back to the room for a moment” not feasible. Next, I was told by email ahead of time that Royal Level has a dedicated concierge that would help us book day trips once we got here. We checked in late Thursday afternoon and we’re told that the concierge was available Monday through Friday so we could come back the next day and book our day trip trips. We arrived at the desk the following day and it was apparently a bank holiday! Nobody would be available on Friday, Saturday or Sunday… which means by the time we were able to talk to someone on Monday, we would only have two days of our vacation left to book something. We were very unhappy with that news since this was the reason we didn’t rent a car (it was supposed to be easy to arrange tours through our concierge). We voiced our concern to Daiana, and she was lovely. Very helpful. She went above and beyond to help us find a tour that would pick us up at the hotel . We appreciate her assistance. We are still not exact sure what the benefits of paying for the royal level are… but I do have to say the staff assigned to the Royal Level restaurant and pool area were superb. In particular I would like to mention Noemi at the pool. She was the best all week. Very attentive. Always checking on everyone. Friendly and sweet. I found it very sweet that she told one young man (who was very very pale) to put more sunscreen on before he turned into a lobster! Wise words. Wonderful service at the RL restaurant- Jonathan, Sulema and Kenia. Always smiling, kind, helpful and attentive. We would come here again simply for the excellent RL staff.
