Loved it so much in March, had to return April-May. I booked a King Paradise Room through Air Transat. Spacious, well appointed, tremendous value. The balcony overlooked the ocean and the pool . Very quiet, even with vibrant activites going on below. The staff are amazing . . . Noel, Alain, Sergio and the whole cast go above and beyond to ensure that guests enjoy to the fullest every moment at the resort. The dining is gourmet. Pizza chef at Frank and Lola's is outstanding. Angel and the entertainment/fitness team were probably recruited from Cirque du Soleil, they're that good. The cocktails at the Salted Rim bar would outclass even the best at The Campbell in Manhattan. Visit once, and you will want to return forever.

We stayed here (early May) during the off-season at around 40% capacity, which helped—but even with that, this is easily the best adults-only all-inclusive I’ve been to. Everything just felt easy. No pressure to upgrade, no sense you’re missing out. The base experience is strong across the board—food, service, and overall layout all work. Food is usually where these places fall short, but not here. We ate somewhere different every night and never felt the need to repeat. Quality was consistently good, and we didn’t pay for any upgraded dining. Quick tip—download the app right away. Reservations open at 9am and take about a minute. Rooms are very similar, which actually simplifies things. We had a basic fourth-floor room—covered balcony, great view, no need to overthink it. The resort is clean and well maintained, and service was consistently good without being over the top. The beach is smaller and has some storm impact, but the pool setup makes up for it. Great loungers, great layout, and still a water view. We spent most of our time there. If you want to walk, you can go north or south along other resorts. Seaweed wasn’t an issue—there’s a barrier and active cleanup. Also—plenty of chairs. No early morning scramble. The vibe is a good balance of energy and relaxation, and it never felt crowded. Bottom line—I’d come back in a heartbeat and stay longer next time. This is one of the few places where you don’t feel like you’ve done it all after a few days.

Just returned from 14 great nights here. We chose 14 nights as travelling from the UK, 7 seems too short. We had a fantastic time, met lots and lots of lovely people. When we checked in we had a terrible room on the 5th Floor overlooking the neighboring hotel. The rooms itself was fine but it the view wasnt good. We are not in the room much anyway but as we were there for 14 nights, we wanted something nicer to look out on. The next day we moved to 411 which had a fantastic view over the main pool and the sea. We couldnt have been happier. We spent most days at the main pool. BAr service was excellent. Sergio was amazing and always had us topped up! Entertainment was quite lively but not on the scale we expected. Decent enough though. Food all over the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was really good with fizz if you wanted it. The omelet lady made such good ones. Lunch was either outside of buffet, licence to chill or landshark. So many options and great menus too. Evenings we only ate in the main buffet once, we used to alternate between Italian and Steakhouse. Menu was big enough to choose something different each visit. Pizzas were excellent in Italian. Landshark at night had a couple of good bands on, karaoke etc. Even though hotel wasnt full it was always busy enough for a good atmosphere. Their cologne beer was really nice. Lobby bar (Salted Rim) had great drinks as did all bars to be honest. Order what you want though. e.g. Smirnoff and coke rather than vodka and coke else you end up with well liquor. We had a couple of trips into Puerto Morelos which was a nice town. $10 or less in a Uber. Some nice bars and restaurants. We also had a walk down the beach to the other Margaritaville resort. Watch out for the nudists at the next hotel! Would we go back? Probably not as we like to try different places but we had an excellent time and would recommend it.
