This hotel is located just opposite to the Berlin main train station so the location is very convenient. It is a modern tech savvy hotel where the check in and other processes are automated. The rooms are quite small but clean and tidy with all the basic facilities. If you have a room on the backside there is no view because there's another big building opposite to it. The breakfast is good and has a variety of options. A word of caution to all - The in general theme of the hotel is black color so the people who do not like black color may not find this hotel comfortable or uneasy. “Great stay in the middle of Berlin”

Had a great stay in Berlin, was good place to stay for Your visit to Berlin. Near the Train station, and You could easy go into town and see the Berlin Highlights. The Hotel was good, and quiet.. even in the middle of Berlin.. ;-)

“Too hot to get any sleep as aircon not working and staff did nothing to help.”

Couple on a 4-night city break - We arrived on Wednesday 28th May and left on Sunday 1st June. The room designs were fantastic, with great quality fittings, powerful shower, the shower gel & shampoo provided were excellent quality. The hot & cold buffet breakfast was very good, the dining area and the bar area were very modern and very nice. We had 1 large frustration; it was very hot in the room. The adjustable aircon temperature range is between 18°C and 24°C. We had it set to 18°C (with the window firmly closed so that the aircon system was running), but it never reached that temperature, or anywhere near. The fan was set to maximum but the air wasn’t cold. We discussed this with the person on reception on the first evening, then twice per day, and they said, repeatedly, they’d look into it. Someone eventually came up in evening, had a look (and noted it was all set on the lowest). They said they’ll return in around 20 minutes to see if it had gone colder. They never returned. We waited in the room because a comfortable room was more important than going for our meal that evening. The following day they said it had been fixed. Nothing had changed as nobody returned, I assumed because they knew they couldn’t do anything about it and didn’t want to have the conversation with us in the hot room. I then advised them it hadn’t been fixed and please can they fix it. We ‘slept’ 2 nights with the aircon and 2 nights with the window open. Lying down with the window open was cooler, but still uncomfortably warm, and the sporadic noise from people outside chatting, singing and returning from nights out until 4am was annoying. The numerous cement mixer lorries that parked behind the hotel started at 5am which was annoying, and you need the curtains open to let the cooler air in so the light didn’t help me sleep. For me, an important factor of a hotel, especially on a city break, is being able to get a reasonable night’s sleep, and after 1 night they should have tried to fix it, but they did nothing to help. I’ve stayed in many hotels globally and for the last 3 years worked as a Gas Safe registered heating engineer and while I didn’t have my thermometer equipment with me (as I was on holiday!), I know what 18°C and 24°C feels like! I put the heating up to 24°C several times and it didn’t deliver any hot air, because the thermostat was registering the temperature was above 24°C. I would advise staying elsewhere.
