A bit dated but the room was very comfortable. Staff is excellent and wifi works very well. Stayed twice already in August and will return in September. Good value for money.

The location of this hotel is prime--easy to walk to shopping, restaurants (check out Santos Manjares Parrilla, just down the street at Paraguay #938) and central downtown features. The service was great--from phone calls before we arrived and minor issues after we checked in. The personnel at the desk spoke English and they could also exchange money. We used this hotel as our "base" as we traveled to other areas in Argentina, and then returned between trips. The staff was so agreeable to hold onto our luggage so we could travel lighter. Check in was easy. Getting our luggage and us up to our room in the elevator was a bit tricky. There are two elevators, and they are both very small. My husband and I could barely fit in along with our luggage. The good thing was that the wait for the elevator was never really an issue. The room was a pretty good size (we stayed in Rm 303 and then 603) for the three of us, but only had a small side table and one chair. The bathroom was a good size with an oversized jet tub/shower and double sinks. Since we were using the tub/shower as only a shower, it was a little treacherous to get into the tub. Gratefully, they had grab handles. There was another mirror outside of the bathroom (which is always helpful when multiple people are trying to get ready for the day at the same time). We loved the little kitchenette (kitchen in a closet) that provided, in a space-efficient way, some kitchen essentials. The room was regularly cleaned and was in good working order. The heating/ac was right under the window, which caused a little problem with the curtains cutting off the air when the curtains were closed. However, the air worked well. The breakfast was included in our stay, and it was regularly restocked with fresh foods. There was the choice of egg, cold or hot cereal, fruits, yogurt, pastries, toast, cheese and ham along with hot drinks. We were in need of laundry, but found it more economical to take a load of laundry to the laundry across the street to have it laundered and ready for pick up the next day for about $7 USD a load. There is no such thing, apparently, as self-service laundromats in Argentina.
