​The Good Stuff I really wanted to give this hotel a perfect score because there is so much to love. The location is absolutely ideal—close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel like a retreat. Our room was impressively large, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderful aesthetic that made us feel right at home. ​The Not-So-Good Stuff Unfortunately, the soundproofing (or lack thereof) was a major issue. We found it incredibly difficult to get a good night's sleep due to significant noise from both the passing trains and the guests in the room above us. We could hear every footstep and movement from upstairs, which made the nights quite disruptive. ​Verdict It’s a lovely property with a fantastic team, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to request a top-floor room away from the tracks. I’d love to stay here again, but only if I can guarantee a bit more peace and quiet!

“great location, nice clean room”

Great location for exploring Prague on foot. Good clean room, very spacious and comfy beds. Room has a fridge which is handy. Would have gotten 5* had we been given more than 2 coffee pods per day

Rustic hotel near the heart of Prague. The hotel is advertised as 4 star, but just about, and not for a lack of trying. The hotel does try hard and has a lot going for it, but it does have its flaws. Bad points first: - Rooms are rustic. Old furniture, small TVs, older decor and weird positions for isolator switches and sockets within the room. Windows are awkward to open (double casement windows) and definitely wouldn't let young children near them if on a high floor. - Cleaning is done daily and to a good standard, however they did regularly miss under the beds and furniture which had dirt from the previous resident - Beds are unusually firm and hard, which are generally fine but if you have a bad back, expect some issues - Breakfast is pricey and a let down. 15 euro per person, and while they do offer both continental and northern foods, the selection is poor and not refreshed often. Being near the heart of the city, unless it's already included in your stay offer, you'll find cheaper and better options elsewhere - Bar is also pricey. TV is located in the corner and often inactive. Atmosphere is dead - Not a fault of the hotel, but the area is noisy with trams at most hours. There are far more general and less nitpick good points however: - Staff are friendly and helpful. Asked for special request for additional chair which was accommodated. They also left a birthday card and some Ferrero Roche sweets despite not being told explicitly! - The hotel lobby and bar is classy and decorative - Rooms are spacious and the family room comes with separate beds for each of the kids. Lots of room to store luggage and there is an in-room safe - Coffee machine in room restocked regularly. Hair dryer also in bathroom. Stocked with lots of conditioner, shower gels, shampoo. Complimentary slippers. - Location! The major benefit. It is uniquely located within ten minutes walk of most things and it's situated next to major tram lines for attractions like Prague Zoo. Petrin hill is literally in front of the hotel and a gelato to the right of the hotel - Price. It is definitely one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the city. There are many more positives to the hotel than negatives and I would recommend as a great base to explore the city.
