“A Beautiful Stay, If You Can Sleep Through the Noise”

The Good Stuff I really wanted to give this hotel a perfect score because there is so much to love. The location is absolutely ideal—close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel like a retreat. Our room was impressively large, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderful aesthetic that made us feel… more

“great location, nice clean room”

Great location for exploring Prague on foot. Good clean room, very spacious and comfy beds. Room has a fridge which is handy. Would have gotten 5* had we been given more than 2 coffee pods per day

“Just about 4 star that tries really hard”

Rustic hotel near the heart of Prague. The hotel is advertised as 4 star, but just about, and not for a lack of trying. The hotel does try hard and has a lot going for it, but it does have its flaws. Bad points first: - Rooms are rustic. Old furniture, small TVs, older decor and weird positions f… more

Key features of the moderation of reviews

There is an automatic system that detects offensive language, in which case the review will not be published. If an owner reports one of the reviews, the review will be re-evaluated and, if it fails to comply with our content standards, it will be taken down.

Our criteria for collecting guest reviews

After getting home from the trip booked with us, the customer will receive an email asking them to review different aspects of each of the services booked. The system only allows the booking holder to complete this review and only once.

When will my review appear on the website?

Reviews typically take less than 24 hours to appear on our website. The process may take longer if our team of moderators have to examine the review in more detail.

How long will my review stay on the website?

Once it has been published, your review will automatically appear in the summary of reviews and if it is considered a featured review (based on publication date, length and quality of content), the complete review will also appear. Said review will not appear or will disappear from the system if it contains offensive language or if it is reported.

Can I get a reward for my opinion?

No. Reviews written in exchange for personal rewards such as gifts, services, or money will be taken down.

Can a review be edited?

No, once a review has been written, it cannot be edited. If you want it taking down, you can ask to have it deleted and not republished again.

Will my review appear on other websites or publications?

Once published, all or some of the reviews written by our members may be used on some of our partner sites or in promotional material in general.

If I write a review about a service, can the provider contact me about it?

No, as the personal data of the booking holder writing the review will not be shared with any service providers being reviewed. In the featured reviews shown, only the booking holder's first name will appear, meaning that there's no way that the service provider can contact you.

  • Yes, guests at Hotel Roma Prague have highlighted that: Just returned from a 3 night break at Hotel Roma (when I say just, i mean we have literally just walked through our front door having travelled from Birmingham airport) Having visited Prague before, I can say that this hotel is very well located for several “tourist” spots. Charles Bridge is on your doorstep with plenty of restaurants and quirky shops and takeaways nearby. Trams run outside the hotel for the more adventurous. We found that most of Pragues “zones” were 25/30 min walk away including the Old Town and Wenceslas Square. Whilst this may feel like a good walk (you will certainly get your steps in!), don’t let it put you off, it feels a lot less as there are so many wonderful sites and buildings to see on your way. I had a few landmarks in mind before our trip but was amazed at the Architecture and culture we discovered by walking to our desired spot. Hotel: Clean and basic but felt very comfortable and relaxing. Staff super friendly. Breakfast was more than we expected as we were led to believe it was continental only. Breads/toast/jams, cakes of various variety’s, fresh fruit, apple/orange juice, coffee/tea, cold meats and cheeses. Over the three mornings we ate, they had scrambled and boiled eggs, mushrooms and frankfurter sausage available. 1st and 3rd day bacon which was very tasty and one day beans as an alternative. The breakfast bar had unusual offerings from what we would consider a breakfast choice such as Mediterranean vegetables, rice, broccoli, soup. The only day I was disappointed was the second day when bacon was nowhere to be seen but had been replaced by what looked like possibly meatloaf? However I enjoyed eggs and beans on toast followed by pate on toast. Bar prices are actually cheap in comparison to bars around the city. Coke/fanta is pricey as it was in most places but the beer came in as cheap if not cheaper than anywhere else that we made a pit stop. My only criticism of the hotel is I feel they could expand on their information leaflet and amend their website. It wasn’t clear what time the bars opening hours were or the facilities available. The website states the gym is accessible 24/7. My son who is a fitness fanatic went to access the gym at 2147hrs one evening to be told it close at 2200hrs and reopens at 0700hrs hence major disappointment as it was part of his plan for that day. All members of staff are wonderful especially the bar staff who can’t do enough for you however I don’t think we saw the same member of staff twice over 4 days. Transport Uber to and from airport for 4 was approx £18 (don’t be misled into thinking you have to book Uber Airport specifically as it was around £10 more!) just book an normally uber and look out for the registration! Evening entertainment We had all intentions of going “out out” with our 18yr old boys. However, due ti the 10 miles a day we walked, and neither son having much interest in alcohol we found the perfect nightlife at Levels. 9 story entertainment centre. 2 floors are wall to wall arcades and games. It is pricey but worth every penny to make an evening for a family outing. We paid 400czk each (£14ish) for the boys for 1 hour to play many games whilst myself and my husband happily sat at the swanky bars. Win win! You can pay for extras such as racing simulators which again are pricey (£17 each for 15 mins) but honestly worth every penny for the older teenagers. No entrance fee so adults can sit and drink whilst the kids go and play. Tip!! Take the elevator to the 8th floor and walk up the stairs to the 9th floor. Roof top views of Prague! Overall a much enjoyed break with the lads who “don’t want to go on holiday with mum” anymore I will be back and the lads can’t wait for next year to visit with friends and maybe experience the nightlife!
