Great place to stay, clean and spacious rooms. The location is a bit outside central Kerala area, and there’s not much of a view or city access to shopping (like Tiruvalla or Kottayam). But if you want great rooms with clean bathrooms, this is the best out of several hotels in central Kerala. The restaurant is also great, with excellent breakfast and dining options. The food is really good! All the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were friendly and courteous. Just a note: They advertise a massage parlor opposite the hotel. The massage is okay, but the towels are stale and old, and their bathroom is one of the worst I’ve ever been to. Except for one of the massage ladies who was nice, there were a few others who were totally rude and unprofessional. They didn’t help, and they just sat on the floor talking and ignoring me as I tried to take a quick shower in that horrible bathroom. It was one of the worst experiences ever. I still shudder at how miserable the whole experience was! That has no bearing on the hotel, but I just wanted to caution people who considered going to the massage parlor.

This is an old property thats quite famous around Thiruvalla and Changanassery owing to a lot of wedding/reception events happening here. Being from a place closer to the locality have heard a lot of good things about this place from our school days many years back and we were curious as to how the property actually is, if staying as a guest. We booked this place expecting this to be a decent resort property on our route to Trivandrum. The room and the premises were clean and looked well maintained. But despite the layout of the property being like a resort, our stay experience felt more like a standard downtown business hotel as there were not many activities one could do to unwind at this property, which is typically expected from a resort. The pool and children's park were closed and not available to guests during our stay which was a disappoinment. We are not sure why, but this could have been due to an event that was happening at the hotel and they probably prioritized the wedding/group booking, which is a bit unfair to guests with individual bookings. Another factor we observed is that the property appears to be short staffed to be able to cater to individual guest bookings when there is an event/group booking such as weddings. From our understanding, this has more to do with the hotel being short staffed to handle a large number and type of guests than the quality of service. The staff appeared to be polite and courteous when we got the opportunity to interact with them. Unlike some hotels, the food here was surprisingly good and very reasonably priced for the type of property. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Breakfast is not a buffet but a la carte with limited options, but nothing to complain here as the food was good. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this property and would consider visiting again if we have to make a stop around changanassery. We hope, facilities like the pool and park would be open to guests then.
