We stayed here for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The room was very comfortable with a breathtaking view from the balcony. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely accommodating, particularly Matthew and Jishnal in the restaurant. There is no bar at the hotel but we came prepared and bought our own beer, which the hotel refrigerated for us. The location is not in Munnar but this did not matter to us as we had a driver. We would definitely stay here again

Spent two days at Ragamaya Resort, Munnar — the location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking views that make it a perfect getaway. The serene atmosphere and scenic beauty truly elevate the entire experience. The hospitality also stands out, with the staff being warm, attentive, and making the stay very comfortable and memorable. The complimentary nature walk was a lovely addition and a great way to enjoy the surroundings, and the room amenities were good and added to the comfort of the stay. The only drawbacks were the food experience, with limited variety, smaller portion sizes for the price, and significant delays (waiting nearly two hours for tea), and the plantation visit that was promised during booking (for an additional cost) was not arranged.

“Does the view justify the long windy journey ?”

The reason to come here is the magnificent view. All rooms have balconies facing it. There is no pool to speak of ( it is said to be an infinity pool which is true but tiny and dilapidated sunloungers). Can’t comment on restaurant as they had kitchen problems. Lovely staff. The reason to come here is the magnificent view. All rooms have balconies facing it. There is no pool to speak of ( it is said to be an infinity pool which is true but tiny and dilapidated sunloungers). Can’t comment on restaurant as they had kitchen problems. Lovely staff. Spa does a very oily but effective massage. It’s a long windy drive to get here and further to Munnar which resembles a North Indian hill town but has an interesting tea museum.

“Highly priced for a property that is not in munnar”

First of all this is not in proper munnar. If you look at the address, it clearly mentions its off munnar road. We got mislead with the name and ended up in this place. First of all this is not in proper munnar. If you look at the address, it clearly mentions its off munnar road. We got mislead with the name and ended up in this place. We stayed in this so called resort for 3 days. Rooms are good, staffs were really courteous. Special mention about Jishnu, who really took care of guests needs very well always with a smile. View of ponmudi lake is awesome from this property. Property is very small and i wouldn't call it a resort. Food options are really limited. The activities they provide in house is very limited which every hotel provides like a game room, gym and common pool. All actual sight seeing places are very far and difficult to go unless you have a vehicle with you. Price they charge is tooo high for such a property that is not in munnar, not much food option witb very limited in house activity.
