I’ve been to each of the Taj Safari properties (some more than once) and would not hesitate to recommend them. The lodges are tastefully rustic and superbly comfortable. The food is extraordinary, especially for those with a taste for Indian cuisine! What really makes Taj Safari lodges stand out though are the extraordinary staff. From the managers of each property to the wonderful kitchen staff who brought me a French press and homemade cookies each morning before departing for safari. Each member of the team exhibited sincere warmth and hospitality. Their Naturalist/Guide training program is, bar none, the best. (You will find many naturalists all over India who are alumni of their program.) In particular I’d like to thank Erik and Namrata (Pench), Abishek (Kanha) and Rajkishore and Ashish (Bandhavgarh) for their wonderful guidance on this past trip and for sharing the magic of the Indian wilderness with me. I look forward to returning soon!

From the very beginning, the warmth and hospitality were evident, starting right at the top with Mr. Brajesh, who leads the team with remarkable grace and attentiveness. The entire staff reflects his commitment to excellence — always smiling, proactive, and genuinely caring. Mr Amit was assigned for our day to day requirements ,arranging the safari vehicle etc and had done an exceptional job with a smile always on his face. A very special mention to Mr. Sanath, the Head Chef, who went completely out of his way to curate special continental meals for one of our foreign guests. His personal attention to detail and willingness to customize the menu made our guest feel incredibly valued. In fact, one of our guests — an Indian settled in the USA — mentioned that the food reminded him of his mother’s cooking, which is perhaps the highest compliment one can give. The meals were not only delicious but heartfelt. Mr. Keshu, our butler, ensured that every small requirement was taken care of promptly and efficiently. His attentiveness and readiness to assist added a wonderful layer of comfort to our stay. And of course, the highlight of our visit — the jungle experience. Our naturalist, Mr. Kul, was simply outstanding. His knowledge, passion, and dedication were evident throughout. He went above and beyond to enhance our safari experience and made every effort to ensure we had an unforgettable tiger sighting — which we did! More than just spotting wildlife, he helped us truly appreciate and understand the forest. If i have forgotton anyone im sorry for that but all you guys were just exceptional. Our foreign guests were absolutely delighted with the entire experience, and we all left with beautiful memories and immense gratitude. All in all, a fantastic stay, outstanding hospitality, and an unforgettable wildlife adventure. We would highly recommend Mahua Kothi to anyone visiting Bandhavgarh.

At this location, we were welcomed with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The chef was superb, offering delicious dishes while accommodating our dietary restrictions. The setting was very peaceful and the service was impeccable.
