Our stay at The Buransh, Kausani was truly wonderful. The hotel offers outstanding views of the Trisul and Nanda Devi peaks right from the rooms, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and peace seekers alike. The hospitality here is impeccable, and we want to specially thank Mr. Chandan Samant, the General Manager, for his warm, friendly, and understanding nature. His attentiveness and genuine care made our stay comfortable and memorable. The ambiance is serene, the rooms are cozy and well-maintained, and the overall experience made for a great vacation. We highly recommend The Buransh for anyone looking to enjoy the tranquil beauty of Uttarakhand with excellent service.

We just spent a day at The Buransh; I wish we could have remained longer. It's a fantastic location with a lot to offer. Excellent service, clean rooms, delicious food (thanks especially to the chef), and a wonderful host, Mr. Threesh Kapoor. The property is surrounded by stunning natural surroundings. It's wonderful to take morning walks in this natural setting. Throughout our visit, we saw numerous bird species on Burnash's grounds. There are many excellent books to read. The rooms' windows offer lovely views. Remain and immerse yourself in the natural world. Wonderful meals, a lovely setting, a tranquil stay, and an amazing staff. I will definitely return.

Since my childhood in the late 1950s, I have been escaping the summer heat of the plains by retreating to the hill stations of Kumaon and Garhwal. Over the years, these visits, though always refreshing, became somewhat predictable in their rhythm and routine. This time, however, my granddaughter’s insistence on experiencing the mountains led us to The Buransh in Kausani—on the recommendation of my brother. And what an extraordinary experience it turned out to be! Thanks to the gracious owner, Mr. Threesh Kapoor, our stay became far more than just a vacation. His warm, personalised attention to every guest, combined with his passion for the region, opened up new windows into the life of the hills—their people, flora and fauna, and rich local cuisine. He is, in many ways, a living encyclopaedia of the Himalayas. Hats off to him! Set amidst three acres of lush greenery, The Buransh is a self-contained oasis. Much of the produce used in its kitchen is grown on-site, ensuring freshness in every meal. The culinary offerings, inspired by local flavours and traditions, are a treat in themselves. But perhaps the most unforgettable feature is the view. Every room boasts enormous windows that frame the awe-inspiring expanse of the snow-capped Himalayas—stretching a breathtaking 340 km from Kedarnath in the west to the distant ranges of Nepal in the east. Waking up to such a panorama is an experience in itself. My heartfelt thanks to Threesh ji and his enthusiastic, courteous team for making our stay so special—an experience we will fondly remember and cherish for years to come.

It's a clean, well maintained Hotel. You can view the whole Kumaon Range from the room. There is a small library in the reception of the Hotel which contains books from all field. I have travelled almost all over the India. But I haven't seen any hotel which have a library in it's reception. If you are a bookworm and want to enjoy reading books while viewing the mighty Himalayas it's a perfect hotel for you.
