From the moment we arrived, this wellness retreat felt like a sanctuary - calm, intentional, and genuinely caring. It's located in the beautiful Himalayan foothills. What elevated the experience from excellent to unforgettable was the extraordinary service led by Mr. Purohit. He anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had, checked in thoughtfully without ever intruding, and handled every detail with grace. His warmth and professionalism created a sense of trust that allowed us to fully relax and recharge. A special thank-you to Chef Ravi, whose nourishing, beautifully presented meals were both delicious and purposeful. Every plate balanced taste with wellness-thoughtfully accommodating preferences and explaining the benefits of each dish. We left each meal feeling lighter, energized, and inspired to bring some of these practices home. We’re also grateful to Ms. Sonali and Ms. Maninder, whose kindness and efficiency kept everything seamless, from room comforts to activity scheduling. Their calm presence and genuine smiles set the tone for each day. And to the entire team, thank you for the immaculate spaces, timely support, and quiet attentiveness that made the stay feel truly personalized. Absolute great value for money. Very well maintained green grounds - spectacularly clean facilities. Very quite and peaceful. The guided sessions, tranquil surroundings, and impeccable hospitality worked in harmony to deliver a restorative experience we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re seeking a place where well-being is more than a brochure promise, where it’s lived and felt in every interaction-this retreat is it. My stay at Ananda was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt a wave of calm wash over me. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed without ever being intrusive. I would specifically like to mention the F&B team lead by Chandan Purohit but not just along with him Chef Ravi , Shankar, Aditya, Jayraj and Praveen. Thanks to Mr Manmohan as well. Mr Sakrak I really appreciated the honest conversation we had over breakfast, thanks for that. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming — every corner of the resort seemed designed to help you slow down and breathe. My mornings began with gentle yoga overlooking the gardens, followed by nourishing breakfasts that set such a positive tone for the day. Their spa treatments, and they were outstanding. The therapists really took the time to understand what my body needed, and I left each session feeling lighter, both physically and emotionally. What I appreciated most was how authentic everything felt — nothing forced or commercial, just genuine care and thoughtful hospitality. By the time I left, I felt refreshed, centered, and more connected to myself than I had in months. I can’t recommend Ananda enough if you’re looking to unwind, heal, and come back to yourself. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

This was the first time my husband and I stayed here. A few of our friends in NY and LA have raved about it so we decided to go. We were on business in New Delhi so the flight was only 30 minutes and 2 gentlemen picked us up, the driver and the other gentleman gave us a very good overview of the facility. The entire staff is very smart and want to make your visit pleasant. Starting with the arrival at the palace, the spa manager knows EVERY treatment and picked the perfect ones for us, the chef will make you anything you want, housekeeping is super happy and always available. We had treatments that you can only find in India and the fascial was special. The menu is around 8 pages and has western food besides those from India. There is also wine and liquor available. A must is to go to the blessing of the river in Rishikesh, you hire the driver from the hotel and ask them to book the guide Dennis! I hired Dennis to take me on the hike because I did not want to leave at 7am with the group which was only 7 people. They have lectures for one hour twice daily and the topics are always interesting. I highly rec if you want to go alone. There were about 9 people on their own and it's extremely comfortable. The place is GREAT
