My stay at Veda5 Ayurveda & Yoga Retreat was a truly grounding and restorative experience. The setting was peaceful, the staff was kind and attentive, and the overall atmosphere encouraged you to slow down and reconnect with yourself. One of the highlights was the Ayurvedic approach throughout the stay. The meals were fresh, nourishing, and thoughtfully prepared, and the treatments felt personalized rather than “one size fits all.” I especially appreciated that recommendations and therapies were aligned with our individual doshas, which made the experience feel intentional and supportive. I also loved having exposure to the local culture while still feeling comfortable and cared for throughout the stay. Between the peaceful environment, wellness focus, and genuine hospitality, I left feeling more relaxed, balanced, and reset than when I arrived. If you are looking for a place to unplug, recharge, and experience Ayurveda in a calming environment, Veda5 is a very special place.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for months and am finally getting around to it. I spent 12 days at Veda5 in Rishikesh in October 2025, and it was an exceptional experience. The serenity, the staff, and the food made for an unforgettable retreat. Initially, I was assigned an older room on a lower floor, but the staff was kind enough to move me to a newer room on a higher floor. The mountain views from the balcony were spectacular, offering the perfect space to enjoy the peace and tranquility. I’d rate the room a 4 out of 5, only because the bathroom could use a bit of an update. The daily Ayurvedic treatments were deeply therapeutic, not just relaxing. My assigned masseur, Vivek, was highly skilled, humble, and kind. Thank you, Vivek. 🙏 The food was outstanding throughout my stay, thanks to Chef Negi. The entire restaurant staff was attentive and welcoming, particularly Shubham, who led the team wonderfully during my visit. As a beginner, the yoga program was excellent. While I can't recall the name of the morning instructor, his classes were challenging but highly effective—though my one critique is that the practice room was consistently baking and could have used less heat. Still, he built a great foundation, and I continue to practice my sun salutations today. I also attended afternoon and evening yoga and meditation with Anjana. She was fantastic; her guidance and beautiful mantra chanting made meditation click for me. On the medical side, the Ayurvedic doctors were attentive and supportive. I particularly appreciated the care and guidance provided by Dr. Ranjith. Additionally, the daily 6:00 PM puja was a beautiful ritual that I looked forward to every evening. Overall, it was a fantastic, restorative experience, and I look forward to returning.
