“Wonderful hotel in beautiful location”
Perfect hospitality, great location. Very clean and nice rooms. Just be aware of stairs 😂

“Highly Recommend!”
Our stay was wonderful! We loved the charming and spacious space, the patron with small table and chairs and how tucked away the space was though very close to the center of town. The in room breakfast was nice and plentiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay in Matera. The staff of Hotel San Giorgio Matera went out of their way to provide any assistance they could and to accommodate us in a suite best suited to our needs. “great Sassi experience”
It was very comfortable for family of 5. There was a small surprise that one space (with one bed) was in some kind of an attic but it was not problematic for us (it was not visible on pictures). “Comfortable”
Our room was 80 metres from reception. Room was delightful as was the bathroom both set in a small cave. Breakfast was serve ourselves in our room, just about OK.
