And at the same time its very priceworthy to stay here. I can deeply recommend La Pergoletta to anyone traveling to the Sorrento area and the Amalfi coast.

Absolutely incredible experience, one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. The staff are so incredibly kind. It’s a family run business and everybody is so lovely and welcoming. The hotel is exceptionally clean. There are bus stop outside the hotel which take you directly to Sorrento Positano Amalfi, and it’s so easy to get around. The staff even gifted us a bottle of limoncello as a thank you gift when we left! We will really miss staying here and will definitely be coming back!! An absolute gem in the Amalfi coast would highly recommend.

As leader of a school group of 45, we have just returned from this family-run hotel in the hills above Sorrento. We were made to feel very welcome and treated like royalty, which is extremely unusual for a school group. The hotel itself is set over many levels, the main building has a small lift for access. There is also an annexe which has several floors. No two bedrooms were the same which added a level of quirkiness and our students loved exploring each others rooms. All rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable, though a few students would have liked an extra pillow (I’m sure this would have been provided if requested!) They particularly loved the swimming pool, which was in an area beyond the annexe and provided some welcome relief from the fabulous heat we were experiencing. They kindly extended the normal 9am-6pm opening hours for 30 minutes when they saw the students were having so much fun and because our itinerary usually meant leaving before and returning after those times. Our only concern was the location on a busy main road at a T junction, but a zebra crossing outside the hotel helped relieve some of the concerns. Evening meals were three courses, starting usually with pasta or soup - the soups were absolutely delicious, and a meat main course, though yet again they were very accommodating for our few students with specific food allergies or requirements. One of our students had a birthday on the day we arrived and I had brought a cupcake which I asked them to present with a lit candle after dinner. We were all surprised when an enormous gateau was also rolled out with candles - even though the staff had not been advised in advance. It was this thoughtfulness and care that made this the best school trip hotel I have stayed in, in 20 years of educational visits. Thank you to the entire staff team, whose smiles made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. You made our trip!

Clean and tidy 3* hotel, with the family always willing to look after you. It's on a fairly busy road junction so rooms on the front might be noisy. We had a back room (117) which was fine but the balcony overlooked a derelict hotel. We were part of an escorted tour, had breakfast each day and a couple of meals, but really only slept there. It'sbout 600m from the centre of Saint Agata, and the walk is initially unpaved for about 300m. Quite a few decent restaurants are there, most reasonably priced. There's a bus stop outside the hotel for buses into Sorrento (about20minutes) or Positano Nic e small pool at the back which was quiet. Our only criticism was about the towels! Unfortunately they were a bit like sandpaper.
