“Wonderful”
A very grand feeling hotel. Menaggio is all about the ferries and Hotel Bellavista is 2 mins walk away. The view from the balcony is of both Varenna and Bellagio, with snow capped mountains behind. The pool was a real treat for a lakeside hotel. Lovely staff. A very memorable stay.

“Much better than Belaggio”
My son and I shared a twin room and had a fantastic stay at BellaVista. Our room on the first floor had a little balcony with two chairs, looking straight across to the over-run tourist trap that is Bellagio (and just a short boat ride away). Don't be put off by the poor reviews. The hotel probably has the best location in Menaggio just 2 mins walk from the ferry port and the same from the cafes of the main town square.
